<br />$23,490.00. Therefore, upon a motion made by Mr. Littrell, seconded by Mr. Caldwell and carried,
<br />the Agreement was approved and executed.
<br />APPROVAL OF PROPOSAL - PROFESSIONAL ENGINEERING SERVICES FOR
<br />CLEVELAND ROAD AND AMERITECH DRIVE - TRAFFIC ENGINEERING AND
<br />INTERSECTION DESIGN
<br />Mr. Caldwell stated that the Board is in receipt of a Proposal between the City of South Bend and
<br />Ken Herceg & Associates, Inc., 211 West Washington, South Bend, Indiana, for professional
<br />engineering services for the above referred to project. Mr. Caldwell noted that the Proposal is in the
<br />amount of $19,600.00. Upon a motion made by Mr. Littrell, seconded by Mr. Caldwell and carried,
<br />the Proposal was approved and executed.
<br />APPROVE CONSENT TO ANNEXATION AND WAIVER OF RIGHTS TO REMONSTRATE
<br />Mr. Caldwell stated that the Board is in receipt of a Consent to Annexation and Waiver of Right to
<br />Remonstrate as submitted by Dorothy and William Mize, 18359 Cleveland Road, South Bend,
<br />Indiana. The Consent indicates that in consideration for permission to tap into the public sanitary
<br />sewer/water systems of the City, to provide sanitary sewer/water service to 18359 Cleveland Road,
<br />South Bend, Indiana, (Key # 02-1015-0316), the Mize's waive and release any and all right to
<br />remonstrate against or oppose any pending or future annexation of the property by the City of South
<br />Bend. Therefore, Mr. Caldwell made a motion that the Consent be approved. Mr. Littrell seconded
<br />the motion which carried.
<br />APPROVAL OF REQUEST TO ADVERTISE FOR THE RECEIPT OF BIDS - OHIO STREET -
<br />CURB, SIDEWALK AND PAVEMENT REPAIRS - PROJECT NO. 97-36
<br />In a memorandum to the Board, Ms. Deb Martin, Engineering, requested permission to advertise for
<br />the receipt of bids for the above referred to project. Ms. Martin stated that this project will remove,
<br />repair and replace asphalt pavement and concrete curbs and approaches, and the re-establishment of
<br />the treelawn. The project will be financed through the Redevelopment Department. Therefore, upon
<br />a motion made by Mr. Caldwell, seconded by Mr. Littrell and carried, the request to advertise for the
<br />receipt of bids was approved.

<br />PARTNERSHIP CENTER - SIDEWALK, CURB AND APPROACH REPAIRS - PROJECT NO.

<br />the receipt of bids for the above referred to project. Ms.Martin stated that this project will remove,

<br />The project will be financed through Civil City funds. Therefore, upon a motion made by Mr. Littrell,
<br />seconded by Mr. Caldwell and carried, the request to advertise for the receipt of bids was approved.

<br />In a memorandum to the Board, Ms. Deb Martin, Engineering, requested permission to advertise for
<br />the receipt of bids for the above referred to project. Ms.Martin stated that this project will remove,
<br />repair and replace concrete curbs, sidewalks and approaches, and re-establishment of the treelawn.
<br />The project will be financed through CBDG funds. Therefore, upon a motion made by Mr. Caldwell,
<br />seconded by Mr. Littrell and carried, the request to advertise for the receipt of bids was approved.
<br />APPROVAL OF REQUEST TO ADVERTISE FOR THE RECEIPT OF BIDS - OLIVE ROAD
<br />SANITARY SEWER EXTENSION - PROJECT NO. 96-84
<br />In a memorandum to the board, Mr. Carl Littrell, Director of Engineering, requested permission to
<br />advertise for the receipt of bids for the above referred to project. Mr. Littrell stated that this project
<br />will construct a sanitary sewer along Olive Road, north for approximately 1,969 feet from Cleveland
<br />Road. Funding will be provided from the Sewer Works Depreciation Fund. Therefore, upon a
<br />motion made by Mr. Caldwell, seconded by Mr. Littrell and carried, the request was approved.
