4 <br />t_ 44 i <br />REGULAR MEETING OCTOBER 9, 2000 <br />APPROVE CONSENT TO ANNEXATION AND WAIVER OF RIGHTS TO REMONSTRATE <br />Mr. Gilot stated that the Board is in receipt of a Consent to Annexation and Waiver of Right to <br />Remonstrate as submitted by Ms. Regina Giczi. The Consent indicates that in consideration for <br />permission to tap into the public sanitary sewer system of the City, to provide sanitary sewer service <br />to 55769 Mayflower Road, South Bend, Indiana, (Key # 17-1068-2600), Ms. Giczi waives and <br />releases any and all right to remonstrate against or oppose any pending or future annexation of the <br />property by the City of South Bend. Therefore, Mr. Gilot made a motion that the Consent be <br />approved. Mr. Inks seconded the motion which carried. <br />APPROVE CONSENT TO ANNEXATION AND WAIVER OF RIGHTS TO REMONSTRATE <br />Mr. Gilot stated that the Board is in receipt of a Consent to Annexation and Waiver of Right to <br />Remonstrate as submitted by Chester and Florence Krawczyk. The Consent indicates that in <br />consideration for permission to tap into the public sanitary sewer system of the City, to provide <br />sanitary sewer service to 55691 Mayflower Road, South Bend, Indiana, (Key # 17-1068-2602), the <br />Krawczyk's waive and release any and all right to remonstrate against or oppose any pending or <br />future annexation of the property by the City of South Bend. Therefore, Mr. Gilot made a motion <br />that the Consent be approved. Mr. Inks seconded the motion which carried. <br />APPROVE CONSENT TO ANNEXATION AND WAIVER OF RIGHTS TO REMONSTRATE <br />Mr. Gilot stated that the Board is in receipt of a Consent to Annexation and Waiver of Right to <br />Remonstrate as submitted by Remi and Ann Martens. The Consent indicates that in consideration <br />for permission to tap into the public sanitary sewer system of the City, to provide sanitary sewer <br />service to 19494 Johnson Road, South Bend, Indiana, (Key # 01-1018-0381.01), the Martens waive <br />and release any and all right to remonstrate against or oppose any pending or future annexation of <br />the property by the City of South Bend. Therefore, Mr. Gilot made a motion that the Consent be <br />approved. Mr. Inks seconded the motion which carried. <br />APPROVE CONTRACTOR AND EXCAVATION BONDS/TABLE SURETY BOND <br />Mr. Anthony Molnar, Engineer, Division of Engineering, recommended that the following <br />Contractors and Excavation Bonds be approved as follows: <br />BOND OF CONTRACTOR <br />Honeywell International, Inc. Approved Effective September 25, 2000 <br />(Approved Pursuant to Res. No. 100-2000) <br />Beer & Slabaugh, Inc. Approved Effective October 2, 2000 <br />(Approved Pursuant to Res. No. 100-2000) <br />EXCAVATION BONDS <br />H&G Plumbing & Heating Approved Effective September 26, 2000 <br />(Approved Pursuant to Res. No. 100-2000) <br />OCCUPANCY BOND <br />Harmon Inc. Approved Effective October 5, 2000 <br />(Approved Pursuant to Res. No. 100-2000) <br />Mr. Gilot made a motion that the recommendation be accepted and that the Bonds be approved as <br />outlined above. Mr. Inks seconded the motion which carried. Upon a motion made by Mr. Gilot, <br />seconded by Mr. Inks and carried, the Surety Bonds for Maple Road/Locust Meadow Project were <br />tabled. <br />APPROVE IRREVOCABLE STANDBY LETTER OF CREDIT• <br />Mr. Tony Molnar, Division of Engineering, submitted the following Irrevocable Standby Letter of <br />Credit to the Board and recommended approval: <br />IRREVOCABLE STANDBY LETTER OF CREDIT NO.
