<br />Mr. Inks made a motion that the Letter of Credit, as outlined above, be approved. Mr. Gilot
<br />seconded the motion which carried.
<br />APPROVE TRAFFIC CONTROL DEVICE/TABLE DOWNTOWN PARKING PERMITS
<br />Upon a motion made by Mr. Inks, seconded by Mr. Gilot and carried, the following traffic control
<br />device was approved:

<br />Corner
<br />Upon a motion mad by Mr. Gilot, seconded by Mr. Inks and carried, the agenda item for Downtown
<br />Parking Permits was tabled.
<br />FILING OF CERTIFICATES OF INSURANCE
<br />Upon a motion made by Mr. Inks, seconded by Mr. Gilot and carried, the following Certificates of
<br />Insurance were accepted for filing:

<br />FILING OF MONTH REPORT - ENVIRONMENTAL SERVICES
<br />Mr. Jack Dillon, Director of Environmental Services, submitted a monthly report for the Division of
<br />Environmental Services, for the Wastewater Treatment Plant, Organic Resources, Solid Waste and
<br />Sewer Repair. Mr. Dillon presented this report at the Agenda Session Meeting on October 5, 2000.
<br />There being no further discussion, upon a motion made by Mr. Gilot, seconded by Mr. Inks and
<br />carried, the report was accepted and filed.
<br />TABLE TITLE SHEET - MAPLE ROAD APPROACH/STATE ROAD 23 (LOCUST MEADOWS
<br />SUBDIVISION)
<br />Upon a motion made by Mr. Inks, seconded by Mr. Gilot and carried, the above referred to Title
<br />Sheet was tabled.
<br />APPROVE CLAIMS
<br />Ms. M. Catherine Roemer, City Controller, submitted claims in the amount of $873,145.16, dated
<br />October 2, 2000 and $1,670.24, dated October 9, 2000, and recommended approval. It was noted
<br />that the claims for October 2, 2000 were approved on September 29, 2000, pursuant to Resolution
<br />No. 100-2000. Additionally, Mr. Juan Manigault, Executive Director, VMS of Northern Indiana,
<br />submitted lists containing claims in the amount of $29,428.42, $54,326.56 and $339,353.79 and
<br />recommended approval. The Morris Performing Arts Center submitted claims and recommended
<br />approval, and Community and Economic Development submitted claims on behalf of the St. Joseph
<br />County Housing Consortium and recommended approval. Mr. Inks made a motion that the claims
<br />be approved and the reports as submitted be filed. Mr. Gilot seconded the motion which carried..

<br />There being no further business to come before the Board, upon a motion made by Mr. Inks.
<br />seconded by Mr. Gilot and carried, the meeting adjourned at 10:24 a.m.
