<br />Police Department and the City Attorney's office, in reference to a request as submitted by Ms.
<br />Shafonia Warfield, 530 Wenger, South Bend, Indiana, to conduct the above referred to block party
<br />on August 18, 2001, from 2:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Upon a motion made by Mr. Littrell, seconded
<br />by Mr. Gilot and carried, the recommendation was approved.
<br />APPROVAL OF RECOMMENDATION - TO CLOSE STREET - ALBERT FROM
<br />WASHINGTON TO GARDEN - BIRTHDAY PARTY
<br />Mr. Gilot stated that favorable recommendations have been received by the Division of Engineering,
<br />Police Department and the City Attorney's office, in reference to a request as submitted by Ms.
<br />Felicia Parchman, 105 Albert, South Bend, Indiana, to conduct the above referred to block parry on
<br />August 10, 2001, from 4:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Upon a motion made by Mr. Littrell, seconded by
<br />Mr. Gilot and carried, the recommendation was approved.
<br />APPROVAL OF RECOMMENDATION - TO CLOSE STREET - HAWTHORNE FROM
<br />WILSON TO WASHINGTON - BLOCK PARTY
<br />Mr. Gilot stated that favorable recommendations have been received by the Division of Engineering,
<br />Police Department and the City Attorney's office, in reference to a request as submitted by Ms.
<br />Kathleen Kusbach, 128 South Hawthorne, South Bend, Indiana, to conduct the above referred to
<br />block parry on August 25, 2001, from 10:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. Upon a motion made by Mr.
<br />Littrell, seconded by Mr. Gilot and carried, the recommendation was approved.
<br />APPROVAL OF RECOMMENDATION - TO CLOSE STREET - VASSAR FROM ADAMS TO
<br />COLLEGE - BLOCK PARTY
<br />Mr. Gilot stated that favorable recommendations have been received by the Division of Engineering,
<br />Police Department and the City Attorney's office, in reference to a request as submitted by Ms.
<br />Jacqueline Reed, 1101 North Adams, South Bend, Indiana, to conduct the above referred to block
<br />party on August 9, 2001, from 9:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. Upon a motion made by Mr. Littrell,
<br />seconded by Mr. Gilot and carried, the recommendation was approved.
<br />APPROVAL OF RECOMMENDATION - TO CLOSE STREET - WASHINGTON FROM
<br />MICHIGAN TO ST. JOSEPH - COLLEGE FOOTBALL HALL OF FAME ENSHRINEMENT
<br />FESTIVAL 2001
<br />Mr. Gilot stated that favorable recommendations have been received by the Division of Engineering,
<br />Police Department and the City Attorney's office, in reference to a request as submitted by Ms.
<br />Courtney Mattison, College Football Hall of Fame, 111 South St. Joseph, South Bend, Indiana, to
<br />conduct the above referred to event, on August 11, 2001, beginning at 10:00 a.m. Upon a motion
<br />made by Mr. Littrell, seconded by Mr. Gilot and carried, the recommendation was approved.
<br />APPROVAL OF RECOMMENDATION - TO CLOSE STREET - BENDIX DRIVE FROM
<br />JEFFERSON TO DEAD END - BLOCK PARTY
<br />Mr. Gilot stated that favorable recommendations have been received by the Division of Engineering,
<br />Police Department and the City Attorney's office, in reference to a request as submitted by Ms.
<br />Theresa Butler, 218 South Bendix, South Bend, Indiana, to conduct the above referred to block party
<br />on August 11, 2001, from 3:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Upon a motion made by Mr. Littrell, seconded
<br />by Mr. Gilot and carried, the recommendation was approved.
<br />APPROVAL OF RECOMMENDATION - TO CLOSE STREET - LONGFELLOW FROM
<br />MISHAWAKA AVENUE TO SUNNYSIDE - BLOCK PARTY
<br />Mr. Gilot stated that favorable recommendations have been received by the Division of Engineering,
<br />Police Department and the City Attorney's office, in reference to a request as submitted by Ms.
<br />Susan Mazurkiewicz,1220 Longfellow, South Bend, Indiana, to conduct the above referred to block
<br />party on August 11, 2001, from 2:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Upon a motion made by Mr. Littrell,
<br />seconded by Mr. Gilot and carried, the recommendation was approved.
