REGULAR MEETING JUNE 25, 2001 APPROVAL OF RECOMMENDATION - TO CLOSE STREET - SUNNYMEDE FROM TWYCKENHAM TO GREENLAWN - BLOCK PARTY Mr. Gilot stated that favorable recommendations have been received by the Division of Engineering, Police Department and the City Attorney's office, in reference to a request as submitted by Mr. Thomas Wisniewski,1620 Sunnymede Avenue, South Bend, Indiana, to conduct the above referred to block party on July 4, 2001, from 10:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m. Upon a motion made by Mr. Inks, seconded by Mr. Littrell and carried, the recommendation was approved. APPROVAL OF RECOMMENDATION - TO CLOSE STREET - HOWARD FROM WHITE OAK TO OAK RIDGE - BLOCK PARTY Mr. Gilot stated that favorable recommendations have been received by the Division of Engineering, Police Department and the City Attorney's office, in reference to a request as submitted by Mr. John Roos, 1730 Oak Park Drive, South Bend, Indiana, to conduct the above referred to block party on July 4, 2001, from 10:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. Upon a motion made by Mr. Inks, seconded by Mr. Littrell and carried, the recommendation was approved. APPROVAL OF RECOMMENDATION - TO CLOSE STREET - CHAPIN FROM CALVERT TO BRUCE - PARISH FESTIVAL Mr. Gilot stated that favorable recommendations have been received by the Division of Engineering, Police Department and the City Attorney's office, in reference to a request as submitted by Ms. Denise Domonkos, Our Lady of Hungary, 829 West Calvert, South Bend, Indiana, to conduct the above referred to parish festival on July 21, 2001, from 4:00 p.m. Upon a motion made by Mr. Littrell, seconded by Mr. Inks and carried, the recommendation was approved. APPROVAL OF RECOMMENDATION - TO CLOSE STREET - SUNNYSIDE FROM SOUTH TO MINER - BLOCK PARTY Mr. Gilot stated that favorable recommendations have been received by the Division of Engineering, Police Department and the City Attorney's office, in reference to a request as submitted by Ms. Ricka Williams, 5118 West Washington, South Bend, Indiana, to conduct the above referred to block party on July 8, 2001, from 1:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Upon a motion made by Mr. Inks, seconded by Mr. Littrell and carried, the recommendation was approved. APPROVAL OF RECOMMENDATION - TO CLOSE STREET - WILBER FROM MAROUETTE TO PORTAGE - BLOCK PARTY Mr. Gilot stated that favorable recommendations have been received by the Division of Engineering, Police Department and the City Attorney's office, in reference to a request as submitted by Ms. Monica Hoban, 1845 North Wilber, South Bend, Indiana, to conduct the above referred to block party on July 4, 2001, from 12:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Upon a motion made by Mr. Inks, seconded by Mr. Littrell and carried, the recommendation was approved. APPROVAL OF RECOMMENDATION - TO CLOSE STREET - DUBAIL FROM DALE TO DAYTON - BLOCK PARTY Mr. Gilot stated that favorable recommendations have been received by the Division of Engineering, Police Department and the City Attorney's office, in reference to a request as submitted by Ms. Regina Brown,1709 Dale, South Bend, Indiana, to conduct the above referred to block party on July 7, 2001, ending no later than 9:00 p.m. Upon a motion made by Mr. Inks, seconded by Mr. Littrell and carried, the recommendation was approved. APPROVAL OF RECOMMENDATION - TO CLOSE STREET - MEADE FROM WESTERN TO NAPIER - BLOCK PARTY Mr. Gilot stated that favorable recommendations have been received by the Division of Engineering, Police Department and the City Attorney's office, in reference to a request as submitted by Ms. Cindy Jones, 317 South Meade, South Bend, Indiana, to conduct the above referred to block party on June 30, 2001, from 8:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. Upon a motion made by M. Inks, seconded by Mr. Littrell and carried, the recommendation was approved.
