01 REGULAR MEETING JUNE 25, 2001 APPROVAL OF RECOMMENDATION TO ENCROACH ONTO PUBLIC RIGHT-OF-WAY - INSTALLATION OF AWNING - 120 WEST LASALLE Mr. Gilot advised that the Board is in receipt of favorable recommendations from the Division of Engineering, Police Department, Building Commissioner and the Fire Department for a request of the Broadway Theatre League to install an awning at 120 West LaSalle. Upon a motion made by Mr. Gilot, seconded by Mr. Littrell and carried, the recommendation was approved, subject to the submittal of the encroachment application. APPROVAL OF RECOMMENDATION TO ENCROACH ONTO PUBLIC RIGHT-OF-WAY - INSTALLATION OF AWNING - 109 EAST JEFFERSON Mr. Gilot advised that the Board is in receipt of favorable recommendations from the Division of Engineering, Police Department, Building Commissioner and the Fire Department for a request of the South Bend Associates Limited Partnership to install an awning at 109 East Jefferson. Upon a motion made by Mr Gilot, seconded by Mr. Inks and carried, the recommendation was approved. APPROVAL OF RECOMMENDATION TO ENCROACH ONTO PUBLIC RIGHT-OF-WAY - INSTALLATION OF AWNING - 801, 803, 805 807 LINCOLNWAY WEST Mr. Gilot advised that the Board is in receipt of favorable recommendations from the Division of Engineering, Police Department, Building Commissioner and the Fire Department for a request of the Old Blume Pharmacy Block to install awnings at 801, 803, 805, and 807 Lincolnway West. Upon a motion made by Mr. Gilot, seconded by Mr. Littrell and carried, the recommendation was approved, subject to the submittal of an encroachment application. APPROVE LICENSE APPLICATION - GARBAGE AND RUBBISH SERVICE Mr. Gilot stated that the following Garbage and Rubbish Service application has been received: NAME: Gregory Smith/Rob's Hauling ADDRESS: 12733 East Jefferson, Mishawaka, Indiana Mr. Gilot further advised that a favorable recommendation has been received by the Department of Code Enforcement concerning this application. Further, the Bureau of Sanitation has inspected the vehicle(s) to be used in conjunction with this business, and has found them to be satisfactory. Upon a motion made by Mr. Inks, seconded by Mr. Littrell and carried, the above license application was approved and referred to the Deputy Controller's Office for issuance of a license. APPROVE LICENSE APPLICATION - GARBAGE AND RUBBISH SERVICE Mr. Gilot stated that the following Garbage and Rubbish Service application has been received: NAME: Wallace DeLoach ADDRESS: 5319 Linden Avenue The Bureau of Sanitation has inspected the vehicle(s) to be used in conjunction with this business, and has found them to be satisfactory. Upon a motion made by Mr. Gilot, seconded by Mr. Littrell and carried, the above license application was approved and referred to the Deputy Controller's Office for issuance of a license, subject to the submittal of an approval from the Department of Code Enforcement. APPROVE LICENSE APPLICATION - GARBAGE AND RUBBISH SERVICE Mr. Gilot stated that the following Garbage and Rubbish Service application has been received: NAME: Pete Buchanan ADDRESS: 1210 Bissell The Bureau of Sanitation has inspected the vehicle(s) to be used in conjunction with this business, and has found them to be satisfactory. Upon a motion made by Mr. Gilot, seconded by Mr. Inks and carried, the above license application was approved and referred to the Deputy Controller's Office for issuance of a license subject to the submittal of an approval from the Department of Code Enforcement. 1 r� E
