REGULAR MEETING MAY 14, 2001 <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to I.C. 36-2-2-20, the Board of Commissioners of St. Joseph County, <br />Indiana (herein after, the "Board") has custody of and may maintain all real property of St. Joseph <br />County; and <br />WHEREAS, the County is willing to transfer the real property to the City upon payment of <br />Ten Dollars ($10.00) per parcel and the City's agreement to assume responsibility for transfer fees <br />and recording costs associated with the transfer. <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS OF THE <br />CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA AS FOLLOWS: <br />1. That the transfer of the Real Property situated in St. Joseph County, Indiana, and more <br />particularly described as Exhibit "A", hereto, by St. Joseph County, Indiana to the City of South <br />Bend, Indiana, shall be, and hereby is, accepted. <br />2. That upon receipt of fully executed quitclaim deed(s) to the Real Property from the from <br />the County, the Clerk of the Board of Public Works of the City of South Bend, Indiana is hereby <br />authorized and directed to cause the recording of said warranty deed(s) in the Office of the St. Joseph <br />County Recorder. <br />3. For and in consideration of such transfers, the City shall pay the County, St. Joseph <br />County Auditor, the sum of Ten Dollars ($10.00) per parcel. The City shall assume all recording <br />costs and any transfer fees. <br />4. Jacob, Clerk <br />FILING OF SAFETY REPORTS - DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS <br />The Division of Environmental Services and Central Services submitted Safety Reports for March <br />2001. These reports will reflect injuries/accidents for each month and provide for a comparison. <br />There being no further discussion, upon a motion made by Mr. Gilot, seconded by Ms. Roemer and <br />carried, the reports were accepted and filed. <br />FILING OF MONTHLY REPORT - ENVIRONMENTAL SERVICES <br />Mr. Jack Dillon, Director of Environmental Services, submitted a monthly report for the Division <br />of Environmental Services, for the Wastewater Treatment Plant, Organic Resources, Solid Waste <br />and Sewer Repair, for the month of April 2001. There being no further discussion, upon a motion <br />made by Mr. Gilot, seconded by Ms. Roemer and carried, the report was accepted and filed. <br />FILING OF CERTIFICATES OF INSURANCE <br />Upon a motion made by Ms. Roemer, seconded by Mr. Inks and carried, the following Certificates <br />of Insurance were accepted for filing: <br />Dominiak Mechanical, Inc.
