This additional purchase is an extension <br />of the bid received on April 18, 2002. Mr. Grounds recommends that the Board purchase an <br />additional automobile from Neal's Dodge, 7115 Calumet Avenue, Hammond, Indiana, in the <br />amount of $8,700.00. It was noted that sufficient funds have been appropriated for this additional <br />vehicle. Therefore, Mr. Gilot made a motion that the recommendation be accepted and the request <br />be approved as outlined above. Mr. Inks seconded the motion which carried. <br />AWARD BID - FORMER OLIVER PLOW WORKS DEMOLITION PHASE II - PROJECT NO. <br />100-092B <br />Mr. Gilot advised the Board that on September 5, 2002, bids were received and opened for the above <br />referred to project. After reviewing those bids, Mr. Jason Durr, Engineering, recommended that the <br />Board award the contract to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder, Bianchi Industrial <br />Services, 208 Longbranch Road, Syracuse, New York, in the amount of $1,495,000.00 plus an <br />1 <br />
