Non -Collusion Affidavit was in order Non -Discrimination Commitment form was completed Five per cent (5%) Bid Bond was submitted BID: $148,544.00 YOUNGS EXCAVATING Post Office Box 2766 South Bend, Indiana 46680 Bid was signed by Mr. Kurt Youngs Non -Collusion Affidavit was in order Non -Discrimination Commitment form was completed Five per cent (5%) Bid Bond was submitted BID: $81,069.05 Upon a motion made by Mr. Gilot, seconded by Mr. Littrell and carried, the above bids were referred to the Division of Engineering for review and recommendation. AWARD QUOTATION - STONEWORK RESTORATION - NORTHSIDE BOULEVARD - PROJECT NO. 102-032 Mr. David Koppana, Engineering, advised the Board that on April 22, 2002, quotations were received and opened for the above referred to project. After reviewing those quotations, Mr. Koppana recommends that the Board award the contract to the lowest, responsive and responsible bidder, Masonry Restoration Specialists, Inc., 1904 Hartman Drive, South Bend, Indiana, in the amount of $3,500.00. Therefore, Mr. Inks made a motion that the recommendation be accepted and the quotation be awarded as outlined above. Mr. Gilot seconded the motion which carried. 1 G 1
