007 <br />REGULAR MEETING MARCH 25, 2002 <br />APPROVAL OF PROJECT AGREEMENT - INSTALLATION OF NEIGHBORHOOD <br />GATEWAY SIGNS - KELLER PARK NEIGHBORHOOD <br />Mr. Gilot stated that the Board is in receipt of an Agreement between the City of South Bend and <br />the Keller Park Neighborhood Association, South Bend, Indiana, to convey the funds for the <br />purchase and installation of gateway signs at the boundaries of the Keller Park Neighborhood. <br />Therefore, upon a motion made by Mr. Gilot, seconded by Mr. Inks and carried, the Agreement was <br />approved and executed. <br />APPROVAL OF TEMPORARY RIGHT -OF -ENTRY TO KELLER PARK NEIGHBORHOOD - <br />INSTALL/MAINTAIN/ REMOVE GATEWAY SIGN IN RIGHT-OF-WAY <br />Mr. Gilot stated that the Board is in receipt of a Right of Entry Agreement between the City of South <br />Bend and the Keller Park Neighborhood Association, for the purpose of entry upon the Keller Park <br />Neighborhood rights -of -way to install, maintain and remove a sign. Therefore, upon a motion made <br />by Mr. Inks, seconded by Mr. Gilot and carried, the Right of Entry Agreement was approved and <br />executed. <br />APPROVAL OF SALES CONTRACT - INSTALLATION OF GATEWAY SIGNS FOR KELLER <br />PARK NEIGHBORHOOD - NORTH AMERICAN SIGNS <br />Mr. Gilot stated that the Board is in receipt of a Contract between the City of South Bend and North <br />American Signs, 3601 West Lathrop, South Bend, Indiana, for the manufacturing, installation of the <br />above referred to signs. Mr. Gilot noted that the Contract is in the amount not to exceed $25,000.00. <br />Therefore, upon a motion made by Mr. Inks, seconded by Mr. Gilot and carried, the Contract was <br />approved and executed. <br />APPROVE CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT - SOUTHEAST NEIGHBORHOOD <br />DEVELOPMENT - PHASE II - ROLAND COURT - PROJECT NO. 102-015 <br />Mr. Gilot advised that in accordance with the bid awarded on March 7, 2002, to Niblock Excavating, <br />Post Office Box 211, Bristol, Indiana, in the amount of $189,116.00 for the above referred to project, <br />a Contract in said amount was being submitted for Board approval. Upon a motion made by Mr. <br />Littrell, seconded by Mr. Inks and carried, the Contract was approved and the appropriate Certificate <br />of Insurance, Performance Bond and Labor and Materials Payment Bond as submitted were filed. <br />APPROVAL OF ADDENDUM TO LICENSE AGREEMENT - ATM AT THE MORRIS <br />PERFORMING ARTS CENTER - SOBIESKI FEDERAL SAVINGS AND LOAN ASSOCIATION <br />Mr. Gilot stated that the Board is in receipt of an Addendum to an Agreement between the City of <br />South Bend and Sobieski Federal Savings and Loan Association, Post Office Box 3058, South Bend, <br />Indiana, for a renewal option for a maximum of five (5) years. It was noted that the Board of Public <br />Works approved the initial Agreement on February 12, 2001. Therefore, upon a motion made by Mr. <br />Littrell, seconded by Mr. Gilot and carried, the Addendum to the Agreement was approved and <br />executed. <br />APPROVAL OF LETTER AGREEMENT - BILLING FOR SERVICES/DEBT COLLECTIONS <br />FOR CODE ENFORCEMENT - CREDIT BUREAU OF SOUTH BEND <br />Mr. Gilot stated that the Board is in receipt of an Agreement between the City of South Bend and <br />the Credit Bureau of South Bend, Post Office Box 1757, South Bend, Indiana, for the above referred <br />to service. Therefore, upon a motion made by Mr. Gilot, seconded by Mr. Littrell and carried, the <br />Agreement was approved and executed. <br />APPROVAL OF AGREEMENT - NORTH MICHIGAN STREET TRAFFIC IMPACT STUDY - <br />LASALLE AVENUE TO RIVERSIDE DRIVE - DLZ INDIANA <br />Mr. Gilot stated that the Board is in receipt of an Agreement between the City of South Bend and <br />DLZ Indiana, 2211 East Jefferson, South Bend, Indiana, for a traffic impact study for the North <br />Michigan Street configuration. Mr. Gilot noted that the Agreement is in the amount of $35,000.00. <br />This is a joint effort with Memorial Hospital. Therefore, upon a motion made by Mr. Gilot, <br />seconded by Mr. Littrell and carried, the Agreement was approved, subject to legal review. <br />
