The Change Order was discretionary due to <br />the Century ter parking lot (Change Order No. 3) increase as a result of resealing and restriping. <br />The work has been completed and the contractor had meritorious claims, which is a reasonable <br />number. The costs incurred to remove unusable borrow and bricks increased the Change Order. <br />Therefore, upon a motion made by Mr. Gilot, seconded by Mr. Littrell and carried, the Final Change <br />Order was approved. <br />APPROVE COMMUNITY ADDENDUM <br />The following Community Development Addendum was presented to the Board for approval: <br />Neighborhood Resources and Technical Time Extension and Reduction <br />Services Corporation In Funding <br />Upon a motion made by Mr. Gilot, seconded by Mr. Littrell and carried, the above referred to <br />Addendum was approved and executed. <br />APPROVAL OF AGREEMENT - TRAFFIC OPERATIONS STUDY - IRONWOOD AND <br />JEFFERSON BOULEVARD INTERSECTION - DLZ INDIANA <br />Mr. Gilot stated that the Board is in receipt of an Agreement between the City of South Bend and <br />DLZ Indiana, 2211 East Jefferson, South Bend, Indiana, for a traffic operations study at the <br />intersection of Ironwood Drive and Jefferson Boulevard. Mr. Gilot noted that the Agreement is in <br />the amount of $7,400.00. Therefore, upon a motion made by Mr. Gilot, seconded by Mr. Littrell and <br />carried, the Agreement was approved and executed. <br />APPROVE CLAIMS <br />Mr. Gilot stated that the following claims were submitted to the Board for approval: <br />Name <br />Amount of Claim <br />Date <br />City of South Bend <br />$849,139.23 <br />February 11, 2002 <br />Mr. Gilot made a motion that the claims be approved and the reports as submitted be filed. Mr. <br />Littrell seconded the motion which carried. <br />RATIFICATION OF PREVIOUSLY APPROVED ITEMS <br />Upon a motion made by Mr. Gilot, seconded by Mr. Littrell and carried, the following agenda items <br />were ratified.
