<br />APPROVAL OF PROPOSAL - SURVEYING, ENGINEERING DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTION
<br />DOCUMENTS - 700 BLOCKS OF SOUTH BROOKFIELD STREET - THE ABONMARCHE
<br />GROUP
<br />Mr. Gilot stated that the Board is in receipt of a Proposal between the City of South Bend and the
<br />Abonmarche Group, 750 Lincolnway East, South Bend, Indiana, for the above referred to project.
<br />Mr. Gilot noted that the Proposal is in the amount of $9,600.00. Therefore, upon a motion made by
<br />Mr. Gilot, seconded by Mr. Inks and carried, the Proposal was approved and executed.
<br />APPROVAL OF PROPOSAL - SURVEY - LINDEN STREET SIDEWALK - DANCH HARNER
<br />Mr. Gilot stated that the Board is in receipt of a Proposal between the City of South Bend and Danch
<br />Harner, 2422 Viridian Drive, South Bend, Indiana, for the above referred to project. Mr. Gilot noted
<br />that the Proposal is in the amount of $11,000.00. Therefore, upon a motion made by Mr. Gilot,
<br />seconded by Mr. Inks and carried, the Proposal was approved and executed.
<br />APPROVAL OF PROPOSAL - SCOPE OF SERVICES - CATALPA STREET CURB
<br />SIDEWALK AND TREELAWN IMPROVEMENTS - INDIANA AVENUE TO CALVERT
<br />STREET - WIGHTMAN PETRIE, INC.
<br />Mr. Gilot stated that the Board is in receipt of a Proposal between the City of South Bend and
<br />Wightman Petrie, Inc., 713 South Scott, South Bend, Indiana, for the above referred to project. Mr.
<br />Gilot noted that the Proposal is in the amount of $6,600.00. Therefore, upon a motion made by Mr.
<br />Gilot, seconded by Mr. Inks and carried, the Proposal was approved and executed.
<br />APPROVAL OF RECOMMENDATION - TO CLOSE STREET - FREMONT FROM KELLER
<br />TO MARQUETTE - GRADUATION PARTY
<br />Mr. Gilot stated that favorable recommendations have been received by Traffic & Lighting, Police
<br />Department and the City Attorney's office, in reference to a request as submitted by Mr. Joe Dixon,
<br />612 Clinton Street, South Bend, Indiana, to conduct the above referred to event on June 7, 2003,
<br />from 2:00 p.m. until 11:00 p.m. Upon a motion made by Mr. Littrell, seconded by Mr. Inks and
<br />carried, the recommendation was approved.
<br />APPROVAL OF RECOMMENDATION - TO CLOSE STREET - FRONT OF MORRIS
<br />PERFORMING ARTS CENTER - "FRIDAY'S BY THE FOUNTAIN"
<br />Mr. Gilot stated that favorable recommendations have been received by Traffic & Lighting, Police
<br />Department and the City Attorney's office, in reference to a request as submitted by the Morris
<br />Performing Arts Center, South Bend, Indiana, to conduct the above referred to event on June 6, 20,
<br />27, July 11, August 1 and September 11, 2003. Upon a motion made by Mr. Littrell, seconded by
<br />Mr. Inks and carried, the recommendation was approved.
<br />APPROVAL OF LICENSE APPLICATION FOR OPEN AIR BUSINESS - CITY EMPLOYEE
<br />HOLIDAY PARTY
<br />Mr. Gilot stated that the Board is in receipt of favorable recommendations from the Building
<br />Department, Fire Department, Police Department and the Legal Department for a License
<br />Application for an Open Air Business, for the sale of chicken at 1045 West Sample, South Bend,
<br />Indiana, on June 4, 2003 from 11:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. Upon a motion made by Mr. Gilot,
<br />seconded by Mr. Inks and carried, the License Application was approved.
<br />The Clerk was instructed to post the agenda and notify the media and other persons who have
<br />requested notice of the meeting agenda. No other business came before the Board. The meeting
<br />adjourned at 9:50 a.m.
