<br />APPROVAL OF PROPOSAL - DEVELOPMENT/IMPLEMENTATION OF IMAGE IDENTITY
<br />FOR ERSKINE HILLS SHOPPING DISTRICT - SITE ENHANCEMENT SERVICES
<br />Mr. Gilot stated that the Board is in receipt of a Proposal between the City of South Bend and Site
<br />Enhancement Services, 3699 West Lathrop, South Bend, Indiana, for the above referred to project.
<br />Mr. Gilot noted that the Proposal is in the amount of $10,000.00. Therefore, upon a motion made
<br />by Mr. Inks, seconded by Mr. Littrell and carried, the Proposal was approved and executed.
<br />APPROVAL OF CONTRACT - USTFIELD GRANT PILOT - INDIANA DEPARTMENT OF
<br />ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT
<br />Mr. Gilot stated that the Board is in receipt of a Contract between the City of South Bend and the
<br />Indiana Department of Environmental Management for the use of grant funding under the U. S. EPA
<br />USTfield Pilot, to provide funds for environmental assessments of properties with underground
<br />storage tanks along South Bend's commercial corridors. Mr. Gilot noted that the Contract is in the
<br />amount of a 10% match of $100,000.00. Therefore, upon a motion made by Mr. Gilot, seconded by
<br />Mr. Littrell and carried, the Contract was approved and executed.
<br />APPROVAL OF CONTRACT - EXTENSION OF 2002 BID AWARD - PAINT - SHERWIN
<br />WILLIAMS
<br />Mr. Gilot stated that the Board is in receipt of a Contract between the City of South Bend and
<br />Sherwin Williams, 101 Prospect Avenue, Cleveland Ohio, for an extension of 2002 bid award prices
<br />for 2003. Therefore, upon a motion made by Mr. Inks, seconded by Mr. Littrell and carried, the
<br />Contract was approved and executed.
<br />APPROVAL OF AGREEMENT FOR TEMPORARY RIGHT OF ENTRY - CONSTRUCTION OF
<br />SANITARY SEWER FOR NEW YWCA FACILITY
<br />Upon a motion made by Mr. Gilot, seconded by Mr. Inks and carried, an Agreement for Temporary
<br />Right of Entry for the construction of sanitary sewer for the new YWCA facility was approved.
<br />APPROVAL OF RECOMMENDATION - TO CLOSE STREET - EUCLID FROM LAPORTE TO
<br />LINCOLNWAY WEST - BLOCK PARTY
<br />Mr. Gilot stated that favorable recommendations have been received by the Division of Traffic &
<br />Lighting, Police Department and the City Attorney's office, in reference to a request as submitted
<br />by Ms. Gayle Wilson, 1246 Lincolnway West, South Bend, Indiana, to conduct the above referred
<br />block party on May 3, 2003, from 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Upon a motion made by Mr. Gilot,
<br />seconded by Mr. Littrell and carried, the recommendation was approved.
<br />APPROVAL OF RECOMMENDATION - TO CLOSE STREET - SOUTH STREET FROM MAIN
<br />TO LAFAYETTE - STUDEBAKER NATIONAL MUSEUM ANNUAL COMMUNITY
<br />CELEBRATION
<br />Mr. Gilot stated that favorable recommendations have been received by the Division of Traffic &
<br />Lighting, Police Department and the City Attorney's office, in reference to a request as submitted
<br />by Ms. Rebecca J. Bonham, Studebaker National Museum, 525 South Main Street, South Bend,
<br />Indiana, to conduct the above referred event on June 28, 2003, from 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Upon
<br />a motion made by Mr. Gilot, seconded by Mr. Littrell and carried, the recommendation was
<br />approved.
<br />APPROVAL OF RECOMMENDATION - TO CLOSE STREET - EAST FAIRVIEW FROM
<br />ERSKINE TO RUSH - BLOCK PARTY
<br />Mr. Gilot stated that favorable recommendations have been received by the Division of Traffic &
<br />Lighting, Police Department and the City Attorney's office, in reference to a request as submitted
<br />by Cristina Moore, 626 East Fairview, South Bend, Indiana, to conduct the above referred block
<br />party on May 26, 2003, from 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Upon a motion made by Mr. Gilot, seconded
<br />by Mr. Littrell and carried, the recommendation was approved.
<br />APPROVAL OF RECOMMENDATION - TO CONDUCT MEMORIAL DAY PARADE- WEST
<br />SIDE MEMORIAL COMMITTEE
<br />Mr. Gilot stated that favorable recommendations have been received by Traffic and Lighting, Park
<br />Department, Police Department and the City Attorney's office, in reference to a request as submitted
<br />by Ms. Adeline Jaskowiak, West Side Memorial Committee, 727 South Illinois, South Bend, Indiana
<br />to conduct the above referred to Memorial Day parade, on May 26, 2003, on the designated route
<br />as submitted. Upon a motion made by Mr. Inks, seconded by Mr. Littrell and carried, the
