Jacob, Clerk <br />ADOPT RESOLUTION NO. 30-2003 - TRADE-IN OF CITY -OWNED PROPERTY ON <br />PROPERTY OF SIMILAR NATURE <br />Upon a motion made by Mr. Inks, seconded by Mr. Littrell and carried, the following Resolution was <br />adopted by the Board of Public Works: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 30-2003 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE SOUTH BEND BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS <br />APPROVING THE TRADE-IN OF CITY -OWNED PROPERTY <br />ON PROPERTY OF SIMILAR NATURE <br />WHEREAS, it has been determined by the Board of Public Works of the City of South Bend <br />that the following described property is unfit for the purpose for which it was intended and should <br />be traded -in for property of a similar nature: <br />Unit 239 - 1983 TANDEM AXLE DUMP TRUCK <br />VIN # 1 M213 117C2DA006969 <br />UNIT 240 - 1983 TANDEM AXLE DUMP TRUCK <br />VIN# 1 M2B 117C9DA006970 <br />WHEREAS, it has been determined by the Board of Public Works of the City of South Bend <br />that the following described property is of a similar nature to the above -described property and <br />should be traded with the above -described property: <br />TO BE DETERMINED <br />WHEREAS, I.C. 36-1-11-9 authorizes the Board of Public Works to trade in or exchange <br />City -owned property for partial or full reduction in the purchase price of property of similar nature. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS OF THE <br />CITY OF SOUTH BEND, AS FOLLOWS: <br />1.
