<br />G OF OUOTATIONS/AWARD QUOTATION — ELECTRIC SER
<br />RELOCATION FOR SASCO PROPERTY — PROJECT NO. 104-030 (FUND 209)
<br />Mr. Gilot advised that this was the date set for the receiving and opening of sealed
<br />Quotations for the above referred to project. The following Quotations were opened and
<br />read:

<br />Quotation was submitted by Mr. John Price
<br />QUOTATION: $12,396.00
<br />Upon a motion made by Mr. Littrell, seconded by Mr. Inks and carried, the above
<br />Quotations were referred to Community and Economic Development for review and
<br />recommendation.
<br />After reviewing those quotations, Mr. Andy Laurent, Economic Development,
<br />recommends that the Board award the contract to the lowest, responsible and responsive
<br />bidder, Trans Tech Electric, L.P., South Bend, Indiana, in the amount of $8,854.00.
<br />Therefore, Mr. Inks made a motion that the recommendation be accepted and the
<br />quotation be awarded as outlined above. Mr. Littrell seconded the motion, which carried
<br />AWARD QUOTATION — FITNESS EQUIPMENT — SOUTH BEND POLICE
<br />DEPARTMENT (BOND)
<br />Captain Philip Trent, South Bend Police Department, advised the board that four (4)
<br />quotations were received and opened for the above referred to equipment. After
<br />reviewing those quotations, Captain Trent recommends that the Board award the contract
<br />to One -on -One Fitness Equipment, Mishawaka, Indiana, in the amount of $28,069.00. It
<br />was noted that this was not the low quotation. The two (2) lower quotations could not
<br />meet specifications. Therefore, Mr. Gilot made a motion that the recommendation be
<br />accepted and the quotation be awarded as outlined above. Mr. Inks seconded the motion,
<br />which carried.
<br />AWARD PROPOSAL — PAST DUE AMBULANCE ACCOUNTS FOR 2005 — FIRE
<br />DEPARTMENT
<br />Fire Chief Luther Taylor advised the board that on May 23, 2005, one (1) proposal was
<br />received and opened for the above referred to service. After reviewing the sole proposal,
<br />Chief Taylor recommends that the Board award the contract to C.B.M. Accounts
<br />Services, Inc., South Bend, Indiana. Therefore, Mr. Inks made a motion that the
<br />recommendation be accepted and the proposal be awarded as outlined above. Mr. Littrell
<br />seconded the motion, which carried.
<br />AWARD PROPOSAL — IN -SITU CHEMICAL OXIDATION — PROJECT NO. 105-044
<br />(EPA GRANT)
<br />Mr. Andy Laurent, Community and Economic Development, advised the board that on
<br />April 11, 2005, proposals were received and opened for the above referred to service.
<br />After reviewing those proposals, Mr. Laurent recommends that the Board award the
<br />proposal to the lowest responsible and responsive bidder, Weaver Boos Consultants,
<br />South Bend, Indiana, in the amount of $141,010.00. Therefore, Mr. Gilot made a motion
<br />that the recommendation be accepted and the proposal be awarded as outlined above.
<br />Mr. Littrell seconded the motion, which carried.
