RYANS <br />- MICHAEL ALLEN STUK II <br />-DAVID ANTHONY KLEIN <br />Chief Thomas Fautz recommended that Jeff Daniel McKee, John D. Ryans, Michael Allen Stuk II, <br />and David Anthony Klein be accepted for employment on a probationary basis with the South Bend <br />Police Department effective March 14, 2007. They have met the requirements of the application <br />process of the South Bend Police Department. JeffMcKee, John Ryans, Michael Stuk II, and David <br />Klein will be attending the Indiana Law Enforcement Academy in PIainfield, Indiana from March <br />26, 2007 to July 6, 2007. Upon a motion made by Mr. Alford, seconded by Ms. Dempsey and <br />carried, the recommendation was approved. <br />Mr. John Voorde, City Clerk, and Mr. Tim Rouse, Common Council President were present. Mr. <br />Voorde administered the Oath of Office to the above listed individuals. The Board wished them well <br />in their endeavors with the South Bend Police Department. <br />REMOVE STANDARD ALARM LEASE AGREEMENT FROM AGENDA <br />Mr. Bodnaz, Legal Department, stated that since the Boazd approved Resolution No. 11-2007, the <br />Chief of Police could sign the Standazd Alarm Lease Agreement and it should be removed from the <br />Agenda. <br />FIRE DEPARTMENT <br />ACCEPT AND APPROVE PROMOTION LIST -FIRE SUPPRESSION CAPTAIN <br />- David Schackow -James Weinberg <br />- Chad Ammerman -Michael Carroll <br />- Ron Simons <br />- Thomas Mogerman <br />' -Christopher Baker <br />- Randy Newman <br />- Scot Webber <br />- Andrew Petrie <br />- Mark Dahms <br />-Scott Taberski <br />- Douglas Salyer <br />- Tony Nania <br />- Christopher Cox <br />- William Fox <br />- Phillip Smith <br />- Jeffrey Yoder <br />- Anthony Bailey <br />- Todd Roempagel <br />- Steve Pritz <br />In a letter to the Board, Chief Taylor recommended that the twenty-one (21) above listed individuals <br />be approved for the list of candidates eligible for promotion to the rank of Fire Suppression Captain, <br />effective March 14, 2007 through Mazch 14, 2009. The list is based upon scores on written tests, oral <br />interviewing, scenario/assessment center exercises, and seniority points. The eligibility for the testing <br />requires eight (8) years seniority and three (3) yeazs clean record with the Boazd of Safety, and puts <br />into writing the requirements to become eligible to become a Captain. Upon a motion made by Mr. <br />Cottrell, seconded by Ms. Dempsey and carried, the above list of candidates eligible for promotion to <br />Fire Suppression Captain was accepted and approved. <br />ACCEPT AND APPROVE PROMOTION LIST -PARAMEDIC CAPTAIN <br />- Jeffrey Stoneburner <br />-Todd Skwazcan <br />- Andrew Myer <br />' -Alan Hardison <br />- Christopher Chapin <br />In a letter to the Board, Chief Taylor recommended that the five (5) above listed individuals be <br />approved for the list of candidates eligible for promotion to the rank of Paramedic Captain, effective <br />Mazch 14, 2007 through Mazch 14, 2009. The list is based upon scores on written tests, oral <br />interviewing, scenario/assessment center exercises, and seniority points. The eligibility for the testing <br />requires eight (8) years seniority and three (3) yeazs clean record with the Boazd of Safety, and puts <br />into writing the requirements to become eligible to become a Captain.
