CERTIFICATE OF APPROPRIATENESS <br />2025-0402-2 1168 Lincoln Way East Lincoln Way East LHD, <br />Ordinance #7343-84 (Audio Position: 00:05:33) <br />The staff report was presented by: <br />Kate Himick, Historic Preservation Specialist <br />Staff Recommendation: <br />The proposed garage has a hipped roof to mirror that of the house's roof, and <br />the proposed siding is Roseburg DuraTemp primed plywood, which would <br />be a more suitable fit in the neighborhood than vinyl or aluminum siding <br />and could be upgraded to clapboard siding at a later date if so desired. <br />Staff considers the elements of the garage to be sympathetic to the <br />neighborhood and welcomes the changes made to the design since the <br />last application (COA #2025-0303, denied).
