This was a request to annex and rezone a small parcel at 52993
Shellbark Avenue. The parcel,only.17 acres, is part of a much larger parcel being developed on
Cleveland Road by Beacon Health Systems as a family health clinic. This small contiguous parcel was
inadvertently left off the Beacon acquisition list when the other parcels were assembled. It is to be used
for a retention pond.
Matt Chappuies from Area Plan Commission (APC)explained the technical requirements, adding that the
APC had given it a favorable recommendation.
Mike Danch, representing the petitioner, provided a site plan noting the additional piece honored all the
landscaping and zoning requirements of the large parcel.
As he had previously stated at the outset, Henry noted that without a quorum there would be no
recommendation.
1
