REGULAR MEETING NOVEMBER 24, 2008 BILL NO. 77-08 FIRST READING ON A BILL OF THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, APPROPRIATING MONIES FOR THE PURPOSE OF DEFRAYING THE EXPENSES OF THE CENTURY CENTER ENTERPRISE FUND OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA FOR THE FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING JANUARY 1, 2009 AND ENDING DECEMBER 31, 2009, INCLUDING ALL OUTSTANDING CLAIMS AND OBLIGATIONS AND FIXING A TIME WHEN THE SAME SHALL TAKE EFFECT This bill had first reading. Councilmember White made a motion to refer this bill to the Personnel and Finance Committee and set it for Public Hearing and Third Reading on December 8, 2008. Councilmember Oliver Davis seconded the motion which carried by a voice vote of nine (9) ayes. BILL NO. 78-08 FIRST READING ON A BILL OF THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, FOR BUDGET TRANSFERS FOR VARIOUS DEPARTMENTS WITHIN THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA FOR THE YEAR 2008 This bill had first reading. Councilmember LaFountain made a motion to refer this bill to the Personnel and Finance Committee and set it for Public Hearing and Third Reading on December 8, 2008.
