Ultimately on a motion by Gavin Ferlic seconded by Dr. Ferlic, the bill was forwarded with no <br />recommendation. There was consensus that minutes of a possible prohibition agreement be searched. <br />The next item, bill 13 -77 was continued indefinitely at the request of the Community Investment <br />Department. <br />Brock Zeeb presented the next item, bill 13 -78. This abatement petition was submitted by Dave <br />Mathews who hopes to build market- rate apartments at 215 N. Sycamore near the East Bank. <br />After brief discussion on a motion made by Valerie Schey and seconded by Dr. Ferlic and favored by all <br />the bill was sent to Council with a positive recommendation. <br />The next item, bill 13 -79, was presented by Pete Agostino. He represented Demby Enterprises which <br />wants to invest in the rehabilitation of 3 apartment buildings across the street from IUSB <br />Administration. Pete said yes there had been early on. <br />Valerie Schey and Dr. Ferlic made the favorable recommendations which garnered full support. <br />The final bill 13 -80, a petition for real property abatement was presented by tax representative Jeff <br />McGowan. He stated the qualifying petition for a seven year abatement was filed by Demby Enterprises <br />to repair and expand a food processing /storage facility at 212 -220 W.
