REPORT OF CITY PLANNING COMMISSION The Honorable Common Council 6 September 1957 City of South Bend South Bend, Indiana Gentlemen: The attached petition of Standard Oil Company and Charles and Lois Drukten to rezone part of Lot No. 7, A.H.Cushing's Addition from "B" Residential to "C" Commercial was legally advertised on 26 August 1957 and given public hearing under date of 5 September 1957. The following action was taken: After due consideration it was moved, seconded and unanimously carried that the petition be recommended favorably to the Common Council. Councilman Erler made a motion for sus - pension of rules. Councilman Hahn seconded the motion. Motion lost by a roll call vote of 7 ayes, 1 nay (Councilman Muszynski) 1 absent (Councilman Glass). Councilman Carr then moved that the Ordinance be set for public hearing on September 23, 1957. Councilman Kroll seconded the motion: -.Motion carried.
