If the ordinance was enacted, signs erected and it were practical for the police department to enforce the regula-
<br />tions on the streets mentioned in this petition, soon other petitions would be presented requesting similar regula-
<br />lations on many other streets in the city where conditions are practically identical.
<br />Obviously if this request is granted in this particular case, then similar requests will also have to be granted.
<br />This type of regulation merely drives the all -day parkers from one street to another, which brings about similar
<br />requests, from residents on the other streets.
<br />The only possible solution in this particular case is for the Bendix Aviation Corporation to provide adequate off -
<br />street parking facilities and encourage employees to use the parking space provided.
<br />As to automobiles on these streets blocking private drives and alleys, this practice can be successfully discouraged
<br />by proper enforcement of the existing law which prohibits same.
