<br />RESOLUTION N0, 121 -65
<br />A RESOLUTION FOR AN ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATION
<br />IN THE REFUNDS, AWARDS AND INDEMNITIES ACCOUNT
<br />OF THE OFFICE OF CONTROLLER IN THE AMOUNT OF
<br />$1,500.00 AND THE TRANSFER OF THE SAME FROM THE
<br />RENTS ACCOUNT IN THE SAME CATEGORY, TO -WIT:
<br />CURRENT CHARGES, AND ALL BEING IN THE GENERAL
<br />FUND.
<br />WHEREAS, Certain extraordinary conditions have developed since the adoption of the existing
<br />annual budget, so that it is now necessary to appropriate more money than was appropriated in the,
<br />annual budget for the various functions of City Government to meet such extraordinary contingencies;
<br />and I
<br />WHEREAS, Additional funds for refunds and awards are urgently needed by the Office of Controller .
<br />to assure its ability to properly perform its function and the sum of $1,500.00 is needed forthwith;
<br />and
<br />WHEREAS, A surplus exists in another account where it is not presently needed at this time;
<br />and more specifically as follows, to wit:
<br />1. One Thousand Five Hundred Dollars ($1,500.00) in Account B -52 designated as Current Charges, Rents.
<br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, That the sum of $19500.00 be
<br />transfers&&.- _ °= to the following account, to -wit:
<br />2-. One Thousand Five Hundred Dollars ($1,500.00) to Account B -53 designated as Current Charges, Refunds,
<br />Awards and Indemnities, both of said accounts being in the same category, to-wit: Current Charges of the
<br />Office,of Controller. -

<br />A Public Hearing on the above resolution was held at this-time. " -.: ". -, Speaking for the resolution
<br />was James Bickel, Controller. Councilman Smith made a motion that the resolution be passed by a roll call
<br />vote. Councilman Geib seconded the motion. The resolution was adopted by a roll call vote of 8 ayes, 0 nays.

<br />A RESOLUTION FOR AN ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATION IN THE
<br />TRANSPORTATION ALLOWANCE ACCOUNT OF THE OFFICE OF
<br />CITY'JUDGE IN THE AMOUNT OF $150.00_AND THE TRANSFER
<br />OF THE SAME FROM THE TRAVELING EXPENSES ACCOUNT IN
<br />THE SAME CATEGORY, TO- WIT: SERVICES CONTRACTUAL,
<br />AND ALL BEING IN THE GENERAL FUND.
<br />WHEREAS, Certain extraordinary conditions have developed since the adoption of the existing
<br />annual budget, so that it is now necessary to appropriate more money than was appropriated in the
<br />annual budget for the various functions of City Government to meet such extraordinary contingencies; and
<br />WHEREAS, Additional funds for transportation allowances are urgently needed by the Office of City ,
<br />Judge to assure its ability to properly perform its function and the sum of $150.00 is needed forthwith; and
<br />WHEREAS, A surplus exists in another account where it is not presently needed at this time; and more
<br />specifically as follows, to -wit:
<br />1. One Hundred Fifty Dollars ($150.00) in Account E -213 designated as Services Contractual,
<br />Traveling Expenses.
<br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, That the sum of
<br />$150.00 be transferred from Account E -213 designated as Services Contractual Traveling Expenses, by transferring
<br />if to the following account, to -wit: .
<br />2. One Hundred Fifty Dollars ($150.00) to Account E -215 designated as Services Contractual, Transportation
<br />Allowance, both of said accounts being in the same category, to -wit: Services Contractual of the Office of
<br />City Judge.
