REGULAR MEETING JUNE 14 1965 UNFINISHED BUSINESS President'Hunter announced that the Clerk address a communication to the City Planning Commission that the Common Council in its entirety requests that petitions, reports and ordinances for first and second reading will not be accepted during the same evening. Petition must be submitted first, followed thereafter with report and ordinance and there will be no deviation from this rule. The Clerk was instructed to ask Richard J. Duck, Clerk of the Board of Public Works and Safety, to get an estimate of the cost of repairing the public address system in the Council Chambers and report back before the next Council meeting. The regular meeting of the Council scheduled for June 28th will be cancelled until July 12th. NEW BUSINESS President Hunter announced the appointment of Councilman Allen to serve as the Council's representative on the City Planning Commission during the illness of Councilman Glass. There being no further business before the Council, Councilman Smith made a motion to adjourn. Councilman Wise seconded the motion. Motion carried and Council adjourned at 11 :35 P.M.
