Motion carried. <br />REPORT OF THE CITY PLANNING COMMISSION <br />December 7, 1962 <br />The Honorable Common Council <br />City of South Bend <br />South Bend, Indiana <br />Gentlemen: <br />The attached petition of the City Planning Commission to zone "A" Residential Use District and "A" Height and Area <br />District the recently annexed land being generally described as having 826 feet frontage on the south side of <br />Jackson Roadm and lying midway between Ironwood and Miami Roads, was legally advertised under date of November 26, <br />1962 and given public hearing on December 6, 1962. The following action was taken: <br />After due consideration the Commission found that the best zoning for the subject property would be "A" Residential. <br />It was therefore duly moved, seconded, and unanimously carried that the petition be recommended favorably to the <br />Council. <br />Very truly yours, <br />CITY PLANNING COMMISSION <br />/s/ Robert L. Motion carried. <br />REPORT OF THE CITY PLANKING COMMISSION <br />December 7, 1962 <br />The Honorable Common Council <br />City of South Bend <br />South B end, Indiana <br />Gentlemen: <br />The attached petition of Drewrys Limited U.S.A., to rezone fro&''!.&" Residential Use District and "A" Height and Area <br />District to ''D" Light Industrial Use District and "F' Height and Area District the property being generally, describe <br />as an Irregular shaped parcel of property fronting on Elwood Avenue east of Wilber Street and adjoining the realty <br />of Drewrys Limited on the east and running southerly and easterly to the right -of -way line of the New,York Central <br />Railroad was legally advertised under date of November 26, 1962 and given public hearing on December 6, 1962. Motion carried. <br />REPORT OF THE CITY PLANNING COMMISSION <br />December 7, 1962 <br />The Honorable Common Council <br />City of South Bend <br />South Bend, Indiana <br />Gentlemen: <br />The attached petition of Ramco, Inc., to zone the recently annexed 80 acres in the north half of the southwest <br />one - quarter of Section 20, T37N, R3E, the east 40 acres to "B" Residential Use and "F" Height and Area District, <br />except a tract in the center, 500 feet north and south and 500 feet east and west to be zoned "C -1" Con m rcial Use <br />and "F" Height and Area District and that the westerly half be zoned "All Residential Use District and "A" Height a <br />Area District was legally advertised under date of November 26, 1962 and given public hearing on December 6, 1962. <br />The following action was taken: - <br />After due consideration the Commission found that the requested zoning would be the best zoning for the subject <br />property.
