Councilman Allen seconded the motion, <br />Motion carried. <br />REPORT OF CITY PLANNING COMMISSION <br />April 9, 1962 <br />The Honorable Common Council <br />City of South Bend <br />South Bend, Indiana <br />Gentlemen: <br />The attached proposed ordinance originated by the City Planning Commission to zone "A" Residential Use and "A" Height <br />and Area District the recently annexed_ land being generally described as fronting on Edison Road `726 feet east of <br />Ironwood Road and bounded on the east and west by the present city limits containing 2 acres, more or less, was <br />legally advertised under date of March 26, 1962, and given public hearing on April 5, 1962. The following action was <br />taken: <br />After due consideration the Commission found that this is the most logical zoning for said area and that substantial <br />justice would be done by the granting of the proposed ordinance. Motion carried. <br />REPORT OF CITY PLANNING COMMISSION <br />April 9, 1962 <br />The Honorable Common Council <br />City of South Bend <br />South Bend, Indiana <br />Gentlemen: <br />The attached proposed ordinance originated by the City Planning Commission to zone the recently annexed land being <br />more generally described as being a parcel of land 620 feet north and south by 290 feet east and west at the north- <br />west corner of Edison and Ironwood Roads "C" Commercial Use and "A" Height and Area District was legally advertised <br />under date of February 19, 1962 and given public hearing on March 1, 1962. The following action was taken: <br />After due consideration the Commission found that there is an apparent need for additional commercial zoning in <br />the general area, and that the best use of subject land would be commercial.
