Motion carried. <br />ORDINANCE <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING AND SUPPLEMENTING ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 3702, <br />AS HERETOFORE AMENDED AND SUPPLEMENTED (Ironwood north of Edison) <br />409 <br />The Ordinance was given first reading by title and second reading in full. Councilman Lehman made a motion that the <br />Ordinance be set for public hearing on March 26, 1962. Councilman Muszynski secnnded the motion. Motion carried. <br />ORDINANCE <br />AN ORDINANCE FOR ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATIONS IN-THE STREET AND TRAFFIC <br />FUND, $ 50, 000.00 <br />The Ordinance was given first reading by title and second reading in full. Councilman Lehman made a motion that the <br />Ordinance be set for public hearing on April 9, 1962. . Councilman Tellson seconded the motion. Motion carried. <br />ORDINANCE <br />AN ORDINANCE TO LICENSE POOL ROOMS, POOL HALLS, BILLIARD ROOMS AND <br />BILLIARD HALLS <br />The Ordinance was given first reading by-title and second reading in full. Councilman Glass made a motion that the <br />Ordinance be set for public hearing on March 26, 1962. Councilman Muszynski seconded the motion. Motion carried. <br />RESOLUTION <br />The proposed Resolution on Public Housing which was continued from February 26, 1962, was again continued by a motion <br />made by Councilman Lehman and seconded by Councilman Ladewski until the next Special Meeting on Public Housing is <br />called. Motion carried. <br />RESOLUTION <br />RESOLUTION FOR ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATIONS IN THE STREET AND TRAFFIC <br />FUND - -- $15,000.00 AND THE TRANSFER OF SAME FROM ONE ACCOUNT TO ANOTHER <br />IN THE SAME CATEGORY OF THE STREET AND TRAFFIC FUND <br />WHEREAS, certain extraordinary conditions have developed since the adoption of the existing annual <br />budget, so that it is now necessary to appropriate more money than was appropriated in the annual budget for the <br />various functions of City Government to meet such extraordinary emergencies; and <br />WHEREAS, because of the hard winter, Account No. S -422, described as Salt under the Street and Traffic Fund <br />budget is depleted and the sum of Fifteen Thousand ($15,000.00) Dollars is needed "forthwith; and <br />WHEREAS, under Account No. S -421, described as Street and Alley Material under the Street and Traffic <br />there is Fifteen Thousand ($15,000.00) Dollars that will not be needed at this time, <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, that the sum of Fifteen <br />Thousand ($15,000,00) Dollars be transferred from Account No. S -421, described as Street and Alley <br />Material under the Street and Traffic Fund, to Account No. S -422, described as Salt under the Street and <br />Traffic Fund. <br />/s/ T. Lehman, <br />Member of the Common Council <br />The Resolution was adopted by a roll call vote of 9 ayes and 0 nays. <br />President Kroll announced the appointment of the Television Examining Board, as follows: <br />Mayor Bruggner's Appointments are John Frick and Russell Bills. <br />Council appointments are Largrence Eugene Ferran, Steve A. Molenda do Joseph Bajdek. <br />Councilman Lehman made a motion to confirm the appointments. Councilman Allen seconded the motion. Motion carried. <br />There being no further business to come before the Council, Councilman Lehman made a motion to adjourn. Councilman <br />Muszynski- seconded the motion.
