f 300 REGULAR MEETING MARCH 13, 1961 No. 3702, (as amended) commonly known as the Zoning Ordinance of the City of South Bend, Indiana was legally adver- tised on February 20, 1961, and given public hearing under date of March 2, 1961. The following action• was taken: After due consideration the Commission found that substantial justice would be done by the amendment of Ordinance No. 3702, as proposed in said ordinance. It was therefore duly moved, seconded and unanimously carried that the proposed ordinance be approved and submitted to the Common Council for adoption. Councilman Muszynski made a motion that the report be accepted and placed on file. Councilman Allen seconded the motion. Motion carried. ORDINANCE, FIRST AND SECOND READING AN ORDINANCE FOR ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATIONS IN THE SUM OF $2,500.00 FROM THE GENERAL FUND TO THE BOARD OF HEALTH The Ordinance was given first reading by title and second reading in full. Councilman Glass made a motion that the Ordinance be set for public hearing on March 27, 1961. Councilman Muszynski seconded the motion. Motion carried. ORDINANCE, FIRST AND SECOND READING AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 3702, COMMONLY KNOWN AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, AS AMENDED (Parochial Schools) The Ordinance was given first reading by title and second reading in full. Councilman Muszynski made a motion that the Ordinance be set for public hearing on March 27, 1961. Councilman Glass seconded the motion. Motion carried. ORDINANCE, FIRST AND SECOND READING AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE SALE OF A TRACT OF LAND OWNED BY THE MUNICIPAL CITY OF SOUTH BEND, ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, INDIANA, DESCRIBED AS Pokagon and State Road 31. The Ordinance was given first reading by title and second reading in full. Councilman Krueper made a motion that the Ordinance be set for public hearing on March 27, 1961. Councilman Ladewski seconded the motion. Motion carried. ORDINANCE, FIRST AND SECOND READING AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE SALE OF A TRACT OF LAND OWNED BY THE MUNICIPAL CITY OF SOUTH BEND, ST, JOSEPH COUNTY, INDIANA, DESCRIBED AS Angela and Pokagon Streets The Ordinance was given first reading by title and second reading in full. Councilman Krueper made a motion that the Ordinance be set for public hearing on March 27, 1961. Councilman Allen seconded the motion. Motion carried.. OLD BUSINESS Councilman Tellson rose to ask the Council to again consider his suggestion to remove two parking meters from in front of the Public Library for the purpose of creating a loading zone. Councilman Allen made a motion that the matter be referred to the Traffic and Transportation Committee of the Council. Councilman Tellson seconded the motion. Motion carried. There being no further business to come before the Council, Councilman Muszynski made a motion to adjourn. Counci Allen seconded the motion.
