IT IS, THEREFORE, RESOLVED: <br />That 1. Inter -City Trucks southbound on Michigan Street (US 31 & 33) shall turn west on Madison Street to Main <br />Street, then south on Main Street to South Street and then east on South Street to Michigan Street (US 31 & 33) <br />and then continue on present southbound route, except that inter -City trucks southbound on US 33 shall turn east <br />on Monroe Street and continue to present US 33 east of Michigan Street. <br />2. Inter -City trucks westbound on Colfax Avenue (US 20) and intending to travel southbound on US 31 shall continue <br />west to Main Street and then south following US 31 southbound to South Street and then east on South Street to <br />Michigan Street and then continue on present" south bound route. <br />3. Inter -City trucks westbound on SR 23 on Colfax Avenue (US 20) shall continue west on Colfax to Main Street then <br />south on Inter -city truck route US 31 to Western Avenue (SR 2) and then west on Western Avenue to present SR 23. <br />IT IS FURTHER RESOLVED: That from and after the passage, enrollment, attestation and signature by the Clerk and <br />presiding officer and approval by the Mayor this resolution shall become effective. <br />/s/ Chester E Muszynski <br />Member of the Common Council <br />Councilman Muszynski made a motion for adoption of the Resolution. Councilman Lehman seconded the motion. Motion <br />carried by a roll call vote of 9 ayes, 0 nays. Resolution adopted. <br />OLD BUSINESS <br />Councilman Ladewski commented on the improved appearance of the Council Chambers and suggested that the Clerk of <br />the Board of Public Works and Safety be commended for having the repairs made. <br />NEW BUSINESS <br />Councilman Tellson complained that Hibberd Court, as it enters Michigan Street, is in need of repair. He stated <br />that the pavement is lower than the walk. The Clerk was asked to advise the City Engineer and the Board of Public <br />Works aid Safety of this condition in order that repairs may be made. <br />There being no further business to come before the Council, Councilman Glass made a motion to adjourn. Councilman <br />Lehman seconded the motion.
