That it is the intention of this body that the General Neighborhood Renewal Plan will be used to the <br />fullest extent feasible as a guide for the provision of public improvements in such Area and that the Plan will be <br />considered in formulating codes and other regulatory measures affecting property in the Area and in undertaking <br />other local governmental activities pertaining to the development, redevelopment, rehabilitation, and conservation <br />of the Area. <br />6. That the filing of an application by City of South Bend, Department of Redevelopment for an advance of <br />funds from the United States in an amount not to exceed Six Thousand, Seven Hundred and Thirty Dollars ($6,730) for <br />the preparation of a General Neighborhood Renewal Plan for the Urban Renewal Area described herein is hereby approved <br />/s/ Chester Muszynski <br />Member of the Common Council <br />Councilman Muszynski made a motion for Adoption of the Resolution. Councilman Lehman seconded the motion. Motion <br />carried by a roll call vote of 8 ayes, 1 nay (Councilman Glass). Resolution Adopted. <br />OLD BUSINESS <br />Councilman Tellson made a motion that the New Jersey Railroad be contacted to repair their Prairie and Remble <br />crossing. <br />NEW BUSINESS <br />Councilman Lehman made a motion, seconded by Councilman Allen, that the.general address be included on-petitions <br />for rezoning or annexation. Motion carried. Councilman Coleman requested that a copy of each petition for <br />rezoning and annexation filed in the Clerk's Office be sent to the Councilmen before the next regular meeting. <br />This request was referred to the Ordinance Committee to determine whether an Ordinance was required to change the <br />procedure. <br />There being no further business to come before the Council, Councilman Muszynski made a motion to adjourn.
