r: REGULAR MEETING MAY 9, 1960 Safety of the City of South Bend, hereby certify that attached to this certificate is a full, true and correct copy of a resolution adopted by said Board of Public Works and Safety on the 9 day of May, 1960. Dated this 9 day of May, 1960. S E A L /s/ Anthony J. Sabo Clerk, Board of Public Works and Safety Councilman Muszynski made a motion for adoption of the Resolution. Councilman Glass seconded the motion. Councilman Lehman, asked for a roll call vote. Motion carried by a roll call vote of 7 ayes, 1 nay (Councilman Coleman) 1 not voting (Councilman Tellson). (Councilman Tellson was absent from the Council Chambers.) ORDINANCE AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING A NEW SCHEDULE OF RATES AND CHARGES FOR SERVICES RENDERED BY THE WATERWORKS SYSTEM OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND The Ordinance was given first reading by title and second reading in full. Councilman Lehman made a motion that the Ordinance be set for public hearing on May 23, 1960. Councilman Allen seconded the motion. Motion carried. ORDINANCE AN ORDINANCE CONCERNING THE ACQUISITION AND CONSTRUCTION OF EXTENSIONS AND .. ADDITIONS TO THE WATERWORKS OWNED AND OPERATED BY THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, AUTHORIZING THE ISSUANCE OF REVENUE BONDS TO PROVIDE FOR THE COST THEREOF, AND MATTERS CONNECTED THEREWITH. The Ordinance was given first reading by title and second reading in full. Councilman Lehman made a motion that the Ordinance be set for Public Hearing on May 23, 1960. Councilman Glass seconded the motion. Motion carried. OLD BUSINESS Councilman Muszynski informed the Council that the Junk Yard on West Dunham Street, formerly known as the Bremen Iron and Metal Company, and now operating as Beth Steel Company, is still in operation and he requests that the City Attorney determine what is being done on the Injunction filed and present a report at the next regular meeting of the Council. Councilman Tellson made a motion that the Clerk of the Board of Public Works and Safety obtain bids for air- condit ing the Council Chambers. Councilman Allen seconded the motion. Motion carried. There being no further business to come before the Council, Councilman Muszynski made a motion to adjourn. Council Glass seconded the motion.
