<br />AN ORDINANCE APPROVING A CONTRACT BETWEEN THE
<br />WATER WORKS OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA
<br />AND FREEMAN SPICER COMPANY OF SOUTH BEND,
<br />INDIANA, FOR THE PURCHASE OF THREE 1971 PLY-
<br />MOUTHS, IN THE AMOUNT OF $7,080.00.
<br />The ordinance was given third reading. Councilman Reinke made a motion, seconded by Councilman
<br />Craven, for passage of the ordinance. There being no discussion on the motion, the ordinance
<br />was passed by a roll call vote of 9 ayes (Councilmen Laven, Allen, Reinke, Craven, Grounds,
<br />Szymkowiak, Wise, Palmer and Zielinski) 0 nays, 0 absent.

<br />AN ORDINANCE APPROVING A CONTRACT BETWEEN THE
<br />WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANT OF SOUTH BEND,
<br />INDIANA, AND DON MEDOW MOTORS OF MISHAWAKA,
<br />INDIANA, FOR THE PURCHASE OF TWO 1971 HORNETS,
<br />IN THE AMOUNT OF $3,987.86.
<br />The ordinance was given third reading. Councilman Reinke made a motion, seconded by Councilman
<br />Zielinski, for passage of the ordinance. There being no discussion on -the motion, the ordinance

<br />CORPORATION, DOWNERS GROVE, ILLINOIS, FOR THE PURCHASE
<br />OF A WELL -POINT SYSTEM, IN THE AMOUNT OF $31094.88.
<br />The ordinance was given third reading. Councilman Allen made a motion, seconded by Councilman
<br />Zielinski, for passage of the ordinance. There being no discussion on the motion, the ordinance
<br />was passed by a roll call vote of 9 ayes (Councilmen Laven, Allen, Reinke, Craven, Grounds,
<br />Szymkowiak, Wise, Palmer and Zielinski) 0 nays, 0 absent.

<br />The ordinance was given third reading. Councilman Craven made a motion, seconded by Councilman
<br />Zielinski, for passage of the ordinance. There being no discussion on the motion, the ordinance
<br />was passed by a roll call vote of 9 ayes (Councilmen Laven, Allen, Reinke, Craven, Grounds,
<br />Szymkowiak, Wise, Palmer and Zielinski) 0 nays, 0 absent.
<br />ORDINANCE NO. 5279 -71
<br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 4990 -68, AS
<br />AMENDED, COMMONLY KNOWN AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE
<br />OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA (Chapter 40,
<br />Municipal Code) (Between Elwood and Keller on
<br />West side of Bendix Dr.) AS AMENDED.
<br />The ordinance was given third reading. Council- President Laven asked Mr. F. Jay Nimtz, attorney
<br />for the petitioner, if they objected to the words " subject to the site plan attached" being
<br />added in Section I, last sentence. Mr. Nimtz replied there were no objections. Councilman
<br />Reinke made a motion for the approval of the following amendment:
<br />In Section I., last sentence, change the period
<br />to a comma and add the words "subject to the
<br />site plan attached."
<br />Councilman Szymkowiak seconded Mr. Reinke's motion. Motion carried 9 ayes, 0 nays, 0 absent.
<br />There being no further discussion on the ordinance, Councilman Szymkowiak made a motion, seconded
<br />by Councilman Reinke for passage of the ordinance as amended. Motion carried. 9 ayes, 0 nays,
<br />0 absent.
