REGULAR MEETING ORDINANCES, FIRST AND SECOND READING ORDINANCE APRIL 14, 1969 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 25 -66 OF SECTION 65 OF CHAPTER 29 OF THE CODE OF 1949, AS AMENDED, PROVIDING A PENALTY FOR THE VIOLATION OF SAID ORDINANCE. (PARKING TICKETS) The Ordinance was given first reading by title. Councilmen Palmer and Wise objected to the second re=ading of the Ordinance, however, they withdrew their objections and the Clerk continued with the second reading. Councilman Allen made a motion that the Ordinance be referred to the Ordinance Committee for study for grading system regarding changing the length of time. Councilman Szymkowiak seconded the motion. Councilman Reinke made 'a motion to amend Councilman Allen's motion that the Ordinance be sent to the Ordinance Committee for study and set for public hearing April 28, 1969. Councilman .Craven seconded the motion. Councilman Allen's motion was defeated 6 ayes, 3 nays. Councilman Reinke's motion carried 7 ayes and 2 nays. ORDINANCES, FIRST AND SECOND READING ORDINANCE AN ORDINANCE FOR AN ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATION TO ACCOUNT P -23, "INSTRUCTION" IN THE AMOUNT OF $500.00 AND THE TRANSFER OF SAID SUM FROM ACCOUNT P -11, "SERVICES PERSONAL" AND FOR AN ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATION TO ACCOUNT P -213, "TRAVEL EXPENSE ", IN THE AMOUNT OF $2000.00 AND THE TRANSFER OF SAID SUM FROM ACCOUNT P -11, "SERVICES PERSONAL ", IN THE POLICE DEPARTMENT, ALL BEING WITHIN THE GENERAL FUND. The Ordinance was given first reading by title and made a motion that the Ordinance be set'for public seconded the motion. Motion carried. Councilman Craven AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING TERRITORY TO THE MUNICIPAL CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, WHICH IS GENERALLY DESCRIBED AS THE INWOOD ROAD ANNEXATION. The Ordinance was given first reading by title and second reading in full. Councilman Allen made a motion that the Ordinance be referred to the Area Plan Commission and the Annexation Committee for a report. Councilman Zielinski seconded the motion. Motion carried. ORDINANCES,' FIRST AND SECOND READING ORDINANCE AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING TERRITORY TO THE MUNICIPAL CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, WHICH IS GENERALLY DESCRIBED AS THE IRELAND - IRONWOOD ANNEXATION. The Ordinance was given first reading by title and made a motion that the Ordinance be referred to the Commission for a report. Councilman Allen seconded ORDINANCES, FIRST AND SECOND READING nPnTMAWrR second reading in full. Councilman Grounds Annexation Committee and the Area Plan the motion. Motion carried. AN .ORDINANCE ANNEXING TERRITORY TO THE MUNCIPAL CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, WHICH IS GENERALLY DESCRIBED AS THE 1/8 SECTION NORTH OF TOPSFIELD AND EAST OF IRONWOOD. The Ordinance was given first reading by title and second reading in full. Councilman Allen made a motion that the Ordinance be referred to the Annexation Committee and the Area Plan Commission for a report. Councilman Grounds seconded the motion. Motion carried.
