Councilman Serge made a motion that the ordinance pass, <br />seconded by Councilman Taylor. The ordinance passed by a roll call vote of nine ayes (Councilmen <br />Serge, Szymkowiak, Miller, Parent, Taylor, Kopczynski, Horvath, Newburn and Nemeth). <br />IIORDINANCE NO. 5549 -73 <br />AN ORDINANCE FOR AN ADDITIONAL APPRO- <br />PRIATION IN THE AMOUNT OF $400.00 FROM <br />THE GENERAL FUND TO ACCOUNT L -34, "FILM <br />AND BLUEPRINTING ", IN THE ENGINEERING <br />DEPARTMENT BUDGET, SAID ACCOUNT BEING <br />WITHIN THE GENERAL FUND. <br />This ordinance had second reading. Councilman Parent made a motion that the ordinance pass, <br />seconded by Councilman Kopczynski. The ordinance passed by a roll call vote of nine ayes (Council - <br />men Serge, Szymkowiak, Miller, Parent, Taylor, Kopczynski, Horvath, Newburn and Nemeth). <br />ORDINANCE AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $10,000.00 <br />FROM THE FEDERAL ASSISTANCE GRANT FUND, <br />COMMONLY REFERRED TO AS GENERAL REVENUE <br />SHARING, FOR VARIOUS PUBLIC WORKS PRO- <br />GRAMS, TO BE ADMINISTERED BY THE CITY OF <br />SOUTH BEND THROUGH ITS DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC <br />WORKS. <br />This ordinance had second reading. Councilman Taylor made a motion to strike the ordinance from <br />the files, seconded by Councilman Miller. The motion carried. <br />ORDINANCE NO. 5550 -73 <br />AN ORDINANCE FIXING THE ANNUAL PAY OF <br />POLICEMEN FOR THE CALENDAR YEAR 1974. <br />This ordinance had second reading. Councilman Horvath made a motion that the ordinance pass, <br />seconded by Councilman Miller. The ordinance passed by a roll call vote of six ayes (Councilmen <br />Miller, Parent, Taylor, Kopczynski, Horvath and Nemeth) and three nays (Councilmen Serge, <br />Szymkowiak and Newburn). <br />
