REGULAR MEETING MAY 29 197 IIREGULAR MEETING - RECONVENED (CONTINUED) IIORDINANCES, SECOND READING ORDINANCE NO. 5525 -73 AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF A LEASE, TRUST INDENTURE, ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT REVENUE BONDS AND MORTGAGE AND FORMS AND TERMS OF THE LEASE AND TRUST INDENTURE AND BONDS AND MORTGAGE AND THE ISSUANCE OF ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT REVENUE BONDS PERTAINING TO CURTIS L. ORDINANCE NO. 5526 -73 AN ORDINANCE FOR THE TRANSFER OF FUNDS WITHIN THE FIRE DEPARTMENT BUDGET IN THE AMOUNT OF $5,880.00 FROM ACCOUNT Q -11, "SERVICES PERSONAL ", TO ACCOUNT Q -262, "MEDICAL ", IN THE AMOUNT OF $2,500.00 AND TO ACCOUNT Q -726, "OTHER EQUIP- MENT", IN THE AMOUNT OF $3,380.00, ALL ACCOUNTS BEING WITHIN THE GENERAL FUND. ORDINANCE NO. 5527 -73 AN ORDINANCE TO APPROPRIATE $64,800.00 FROM THE LOCAL ROAD AND STREET FUND AND $7,200.00 FROM THE CUMULATIVE CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT FUND FOR PROJECT R & S 53 (REVISED) - SAMPLE STREET FROM OLIVE STREET TO CHAPIN STREET. This ordinance had second reading. Councilman Miller made a motion to amend the ordinance in the fourth line of Section I by deleting the word "the" and inserting the words "engineering plans and specifications for" immediately preceding the word "reconstruction ", seconded by Councilman Taylor. The motion carried. Councilman Taylor then made a motion that the ordinance pass, as amended, seconded by Councilman Horvath. The ordinance passed by a roll call vote of eight ayes (Councilmen Serge, Szymkowiak, Miller, Parent, Taylor, Horvath, Newburn and Nemeth) with Councilman Kopczynski absent. ORDINANCE NO. 5528 -73 AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING THE SUM OF $330,000.00 FROM THE CUMULATIVE SEWER BUILDING AND SINKING FUND (NORTHEAST AREA STORM SEWERS - McKINLEY TERRACE AREA) . This ordinance had second reading. Councilman Newburn made a motion to amend the ordinance by deleting the sum of $460,000, wherever used, and inserting in its place the sum of $330,000, seconded by Councilman Parent. The motion carried. Councilman Szymkowiak then made a motion that the ordinance pass, as amended, seconded by Councilman Parent. The ordinance passed by a roll call vote of eight ayes (Councilmen Serge, Szymkowiak, Miller, Parent, Taylor, Horvath, Newburn and Nemeth) with Councilman Kopczynski absent. ORDINANCE NO. 5529 -73 AN ORDINANCE TO APPROPRIATE $108,000.00 FROM THE LOCAL ROAD AND STREET FUND AND $12,000.00 FROM THE CUMULATIVE CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT FUND FOR PROJECT R & S 63 - WIDENING OF BENDIX DRIVE FROM SOUTH SHORE TRACK TO LATHROP AVENUE, AND INSTALLATION OF CURBS AND GUTTERS. This ordinance had second reading. Councilman Szymkowiak made a motion that seconded by Councilman Taylor.
