Seitz, Superintendent of <br />Parks indicated they were requesting this transfer because there was a shortage in account 430.0 <br />because of price increases, unforeseen repairs to equipment and a reduction in the request amount <br />that was proposed for this account. He said it would be doubtful if this $1,000 would be suffici <br />for the balance of the year. <br />Council Member Adams made a mtoion that this resolution be adopted, seconded by Council Member <br />Dombrowski. The resolution was adopted by a roll call vote of nine ayes (Council Members Serge, <br />Szymkowiak, Miller, Taylor, Kopczynski, Adams, Dombrowski, Horvath and Parent). <br />ORDINANCES, FIRST READING <br />ORDINANCE AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 4990 -68, <br />AS AMENDED, COMMONLY KNOWN AS THE ZONING <br />ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA <br />(CHAPTER 21, MUNICIPAL CODE). (NORTHWEST CORNER <br />.OF MICHIGAN ST., AND WALTER ST.) <br />This ordinance had first reading. Council Member Dombrowski made a motion to refer this ordinan <br />to Area Plan, seconded by Council Member Taylor. (1800 BLOCK OF SOUTH <br />IRONWOOD, BETWEEN RANDOLPH AND CALVERT ST.). <br />This ordinance had first reading. Council Member Taylor made a motion to refer this ordinance <br />to Area Plan, seconded by Council Member Adams. (2211 E. JEFFERSON <br />BLVD) . <br />This ordinance had first reading. Council Member Serge made a motion to refer this ordinance to <br />Area Plan, seconded by Council Member Miller. Council Member Dombrowski made a motion to strike this ordinan <br />and the petition, due to the fact that this property was not in the city limits, seconded by Coun <br />Member Taylor.
