REGULAR MEETING NOVEMBER 10 1975 REGULAR MEETING - RECONVENED (CONTINUED) ORDINANCE AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING MONEYS FOR THE PURPOSE OF DEFRAYING THE EXPENSES OF THE BUREAU OF SANITATION OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, FOR THE FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING JANUARY 1, 1976, AND ENDING DECEMBER 31, 1976, INCLUDING ALL OUTSTANDING CLAIMS AND OBLIGATIONS, AND FIXING A TIME WHEN THE SAME SHALL TAKE EFFECT. This ordinance had first reading. Councilman Taylor made a motion to set the ordinance for public hearing and second reading on November 24, 1975, seconded by Councilman Kopczynski. The motion carried. ORDINANCE AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING ALL PARKING GARAGE FEES AND FUNDS FOR THE YEAR 1976 TO THE BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS OF THE CIVIL CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, FOR THE USES AND PURPOSES SET FORTH THEREIN, IN ACCORDANCE WITH CHAPTER 190 OF THE ACTS OF THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF INDIANA OF 1955. This ordinance had first reading. Councilman Nemeth made a motion to set the ordinance for public hearing and second reading on November 24, 1975, seconded by Councilman Kopczynski. The motion carried. ORDINANCE AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING ALL PARKING METER FEES AND FUNDS FOR THE YEAR 1976 TO THE BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS OF THE CIVIL CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, FOR THE USES AND PURPOSES SET FORTH THEREIN, IN ACCORDANCE WITH CHAPTER 208 OF THE ACTS OF THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF INDIANA OF 1965. This ordinance had first reading. Councilman Taylor made a motion to set the ordinance for public hearing and second reading on November 24, 1975, seconded by Councilman Kopczynski. The motion carried. ORDINANCE NO. 5912 -75 AN ORDINANCE TRANSFERRING $170.45 FROM ACCOUNT 261.2, "TITLE INSURANCE, ABSTRACT AND RECORDING ", TO VARIOUS ACCOUNTS WITHIN THE DEPARTMENT OF LAW BUDGET OF THE GENERAL FUND OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA. This ordinance had first reading. Councilman Miller made a motion to suspend the rules and take action on the ordinance, seconded by Councilman Taylor. The motion carried by a roll call vote of nine ayes (Councilmen Serge, Szymkowiak, Miller, Taylor, Kopczynski, Horvath, Nemeth, Newburn and Parent). The ordinance then had second reading. Miss Kathleen Cekanski, Deputy City Attorney, made the presentation for the ordinance. She explained that the transfer of funds was necessary in order for repair to the Norelco Recorder and for the replacement of code books. Councilman Nemeth made a motion to pass the ordinance, seconded by Councilman Kopczynski. The ordinance passed by a roll call vote of nine ayes (Councilmen Serge, Szymkowiak, Miller, Taylor, Kopczynski, Horvath, Nemeth, Newburn and Parent). ORDINANCE AN ORDINANCE TRANSFERRING $2,600.00 FROM VARIOUS ACCOUNTS WITHIN THE COMMON COUNCIL BUDGET OF THE GENERAL FUND OF THE CITY OF.., SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, TO ACCOUNT 261, "PROMOTIONAL EXPENSE ", OF THE PARKING METER FUND OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA. This ordinance had first reading. Councilman Kopczynski made a motion to set the ordinance for public hearing and second reading on December 15, 1975, seconded by Councilman Taylor. The motion carried.
