REGULAR MEETING AUGUST 11, 1975 REGULAR MEETING - RECONVENED (CONTINUED) ORDINANCE NO. 5871 -75 (CONTINUED) FUNDS FOR VARIOUS REDEVELOPMENT DEPARTMENT PROGRAMS. This ordinance had second reading. Councilman Nemeth made a motion to amend the ordinance as follows: The first paragraph after the Be It Ordained clause should be preceded with "Section I ". The wording "submitted for consideration this 23rd day of July, 1975" should be deleted and, in its place, the following should be substituted: Section II. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage by the Common Council and approval by the Mayor. Councilman Miller seconded the motion to amend. The motion carried. Councilman Newburn then made a motion to pass the ordinance, as amended, seconded by Councilman Serge. The ordinance passed by a roll call vote of eight ayes (Councilmen Serge, Szymkowiak, Miller, Taylor, Kopczynski, Horvath, Nemeth and Newburn) with Councilman Parent absent. ORDINANCE NO. 5872 -75 AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE EXPENDITURE OF COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT FUNDS FOR VARIOUS BUREAU OF HOUSING PROGRAMS. This ordinance had second reading. Councilman Nemeth made a motion to amend the ordinance as follows: The first paragraph after the Be It Ordained clause should be preceded with "Section I ". ORDINANCE NO. 5873 -75 AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE ALLOCATION OF FUNDS FROM THE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT FOR THE ESTABLISHMENT OF AN HISTORIC PRESERVATION REVOLVING FUND TO BE ADMINISTERED BY THE SOUTHOLD HERITAGE FOUNDATION, INC. This ordinance had second reading. Councilman Nemeth made a motion to amend the ordinance as follows: The first paragraph after the Be It Ordained clause should be preceded with "Section I ". Each paragraph thereafter should be preceded with a Section number. The wording "submitted for consideration this 23rd day of July, 1975" should be deleted and, in its place, the following should be substituted: Section IV. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage by the Common Council and approval by the Mayor. Councilman Miller seconded the motion to amend. The motion carried. Councilman Serge made a motion to pass the ordinance, as amended, seconded by Councilman Miller. The ordinance passed by a_roll call vote of eight ayes (Councilmen Serge, Szymkowiak, Miller, Taylor, Kopczynski, Horvath, Nemeth and Newburn) with Councilman Parent absent. ORDINANCE NO. 5874 -75 AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE EXPENDITURE OF COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT FUNDS TO ESTABLISH A GUARANTEED LOAN PROGRAM. This ordinance had second reading. Councilman Nemeth made a motion to amend the ordinance as follows: The first paragraph after the Be It Ordained clause should be preceded with "Section I ". The wording "submitted for consideration this 23rd day of July, 1975" should be deleted and, in its place, the following should be substituted: Section II. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage by the Common Council and approval by the Mayor. Councilman Newburn seconded the motion to amend. The motion carried. Councilman Miller then made a motion to pass the ordinance, as amended, seconded by Councilman Serge. The ordinance passed by
