OTHER BUSINESS – TRANSITION TO MERIT BOARD <br />Attorney Connell explained the transition of duties from the Board of Public Safety to the <br />Merit Board, including the need for a resolution to confirm the transition. The board <br />discussed the timeline and agreed to aim for completing the transition by July. <br /> <br />H. ADJOURNMENT <br />There being no further business to come before the Commission, upon a motion by Kenneth <br />Marks, seconded by John Pinter, and carried by roll call, the meeting was adjourned at 2:55 <br />p.m. <br /> <br />After the meeting there will be a brief orientation for the members only. This will be an orientation <br />on their role and responsibilities.
