Ironwood <br />Drive <br />Molnar / <br />Micou <br />FAVORABLE RECOMMENDATION - PETITION TO VACATE THE RIGHT OF WAY AT <br />618, 620,622 MARION ST., 419, 421, 425 LELAND AVE., & 627 LINCOLN WAY WEST <br />President Maradik indicated that Erin Michales, has submitted a request to vacate the above <br />referenced street. President Maradik advised the Board is in receipt of favorable recommendations <br />concerning this vacation petition from the Public Works Department, Fire Department, Police <br />Department, and Community Investment who all state the request does meet the criteria of I.C. 36- <br />7-3-13. Therefore, VP Molnar made a motion to send a favorable recommendation to the Common <br />Council. Ms. Micou seconded the motion which carried by roll call. <br />APPROVE/DENY TRAFFIC CONTROL DEVICES <br />Upon a motion made by VP Molnar, seconded by Ms. Micou and carried by roll call, the following <br />traffic control device request was approved: <br />NEW INSTALLATION: One (1) Stop Sign <br />LOCATION: Prospect St. & Delaware St. <br />REMARKS: All Criteria Met <br />NEW INSTALLATION: Fifteen (15) 2 Hour Parking Signs & Two (2) 15 Minute <br />Loading Zone Signs <br />LOCATION: Jefferson Blvd. between Niles Ave. & St. Peter St. <br />REMARKS: All Criteria Met <br />APPROVE CONSENTS TO ANNEXATION AND WAIVER OF RIGHTS TO <br />REMONSTRATE <br />President Maradik stated that the Board is in receipt of the following consents to annexation and <br />waivers of rights to remonstrate. The consents indicate that in consideration for permission to tap <br />into public water/sanitary sewer system of the City, to provide water/sanitary sewer service to the <br />below referenced properties, the applicants waive and release all rights to remonstrate against or <br />oppose any pending or future annexations of the properties by the City of South Bend: <br />A.Mr. Eric Gerhold, 18374 Courtland Dr. South Bend, IN 46637 <br />1. 18522 Fontana Dr. – Water/Sewer (Key No.002-1014-027403) <br />Upon a motion by VP Molnar, seconded by Ms. Micou and carried by roll call, the consents to <br />annexation and waivers of rights to remonstrate were approved as submitted. <br />RATIFY APPROVAL AND/OR RELEASE CONTRACTOR, EXCAVATION, AND <br />OCCUPANCY BONDS <br />The Division of Engineering Permit Department recommended that the following bonds be ratified <br />pursuant to Resolution 100-2000 and/or released as follows: <br />Business Bond Type Approved/ <br />Released Effective Date <br />Curb Concepts Plus, LLC Contractor Approved May 28, 2025 <br />Midwest Start Concrete LLC Contractor Approved May 29, 2025 <br />Angel Gary dba MAAJ Concrete <br />LLC <br />Contractor Approved May 29, 2025 <br />Richard Custom Concrete Excavation Approved June 3, 2025 <br />Curb Concepts Plus, LLC Occupancy Approved May 28, 2025 <br />Midwest Star Concrete LLC Occupancy Approved May 29, 2025 <br />Richard Custom Concrete Occupancy Approved June 3, 2025 <br />Angel Gary dba MAAJ Concrete <br />LLC <br />Occupancy Approved May 29, 2025 <br />VP Molnar made a motion that the bond’s approval and/or release as outlined above be ratified. <br />Ms. Micou seconded the motion, which carried by roll call. <br />**Subject to Proper ADA Clearances
