A minimum of four (4) inches of topsoil shall be placed on all disturbed areas outsidethe building and parking areas.3.All exposed subgrade shall be proof-rolled and witnessed by a Geotechnical Engineer orqualified representative to determine unsuitable soil locations prior to any paving operations.Any unsuitable soil shall be excavated, backfilled, and compacted with suitable material inaccordance with the plans and capable of supporting the anticipated loadings of the project.4.Positive drainage shall be maintained to prevent any ponding of water or encroachment ontoadjacent properties.5.Proposed contours show grading intent only. Contractor shall use proposed spot gradeelevations and check all grade stakes to ensure positive drainage to stormwater system isachieved. Trash and debris shall be removed fromseeded areas as necessary, but monthly at a minimum.2.Storm Manhole & Inlet Structures (Site Owner's Responsibility)a.Inspect storm manhole structures and storm inlet structures and remove built-up vegetation, trashand debris - monthly (minimum) and after each storm event of 3-inches or greater.b.Remove root intrusions and vegetation from structures and dry wells - as needed.c.Repair broken castings and grates - as needed.d.Inspect pipes located within the structures for signs of clogging or damage, repair as needed -annually (minimum).3.Underground Detention System (Site Owner's Responsibility)Inspect underground detention systems annually for sedimentation and clean out sedimentbuildup.a.Locate the riser section of the retention/detention system.b.Remove the lid from the riser.c.Measure the sediment buildup at each riser and cleanout location. Only certified confinedspace entry personnel having appropriate equipment should be permitted to enter thedetention system.d.Inspect each manifold, all laterals, and outlet pipes for sediment build up, obstructions, orother problems. Obstructions should be removed at this time.e.If measured sediment build up is between 5% - 20% of the pipe diameter, cleaning shouldbe considered; if sediment build up exceeds 20%, cleaning should be performed at theearliest opportunity.
