visit, and then submit as Final Check Plans to the owning agencies for <br />approval. Final Check plans would include the following: <br />• Design details showing proposed lighting within pedestrian <br />bridge railings, and final location of proposed service point <br />• Completion of wire size and breaker size calculations to each <br />circuit. <br />• Voltage drop calculations. <br />• Quantity calculations for each pay item. <br />• The Final Check Plans deliverable will also include final <br />specifications, unique special provisions, and cost estimates <br />relative to the proposed lighting improvements. <br />i) Revise the Final Check Plans per comments received from City, and <br />develop construction plans as part of the Final Contract Documents <br />submittal. <br />j) Provide responses to requests for information regarding the lighting <br />design from potential Contractors during the bidding and construction <br />phase of the project. <br />k) Review equipment information sheets, shop drawings, and related <br />information submitted by the Contractor to confirm concurrence with the <br />design intent and applicable standards. <br /> <br />d. PERMITTING <br />1) Environmental Permits - Prepare the USACE Section 404 Regional General <br />Permit, IDEM Section 401 Water Quality Certification, and Indiana <br />Department of Natural Resources (IDNR) Construction in a Floodway (CIF) <br />Permit for impacts to identified jurisdictional resources. Additional services <br />and fee will be required to cover the effort of preparing any permits and <br />mitigation plans beyond those identified below. The tasks to be performed <br />shall include the following items. <br />a) Permit Management/Coordination – Management of the permitting tasks <br />and coordination with project designers to keep the project on schedule <br />and on budget. <br />b) Field Inspection – Complete a field inspection of the project area. The <br />field inspection shall include a survey by two environmental specialists <br />to document potential environmental resources, including any streams, <br />wetlands, that are likely to be regulated by the U.S. Army Corps of <br />Engineers (USACE) and/or Indiana Department of Environmental <br />Management (IDEM). This task also includes preparation and <br />mobilization for field work. <br />c) Waters Report Preparation – Prepare a Wetland Delineation/Waters <br />Report to determine the presence of wetlands and other aquatic resources <br />that are regulated by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) and/or <br />IDEM. The Wetland Delineation/Waters Report will include the location <br />of wetlands and stream features.
