Sy� <br />ness of said Coquillard to the State Bank of Indiana, for the use of <br />the 12th Branch at South Bend, its payment being secured to her by Mort- <br />gage from said Coquillard, dated July 22nd, 1841, provided that said <br />Defrees shall not sell any of said premises at a le ss price than the <br />valuation at which it stands mortgaged for to the Bank aforesaid, and <br />upon such sale and payment said Coquillard agrees and binds himself to <br />.relaase said tx-aot oi' land as may be sold, Erorn tkie mort,ga,;Se clebG a�ore- <br />said, and ror that pux-pose, I, 'the said Alexis Coqui.11axa have made, con- <br />stituted and appointed William H. Patteson, Recorder of St. Joseph County, <br />and his successors in office, my sufficient and lawful attorney, for me <br />and in my name to release any portion of said abpve described premises, <br />upon the condition aforesaid, and Z, Francis C. Coqullard., wife of Alexis <br />Coquillard, do hereby appoint and constitute said William H. Patteson, <br />Recorder aforesaid, anal his successors in office, my true and lawful attor- <br />ney for me and in my name to release all my right of dower in any of said <br />premises, upon the performance of said condition. <br />signed by A.
