21 <br />ANNUAL REPORT 2024 <br />Pre-Approved Housing Plans <br />Launched in 2022, the South Bend Pre-Approved Housing Plans program has become a model for <br />infi ll housing across the United States and Canada. The Community Investment Team has engaged <br />with over 50 towns and government agencies who are looking to South Bend for ways to address <br />the housing crisis in their hometowns. The South Bend housing catalog will soon grow from 7 <br />to 10 contextually appropriate house plans that are free to use for individuals and developers. <br />Currently there are 18 Pre-Approved plans built or in progress.
