Coordinate with all utility companies to locate and mark their utilities in field. <br />CONSULTANT shall notify the utilities via the call before you dig notification system <br />(Indiana Underground Plant Protection Service (I.U.P.P.S)). CONSULTANT shall <br />verify that each utility has field located their facilities during the course of the design <br />survey. The existing facilities located, at the time of the field survey, shall be <br />incorporated into the design survey. In addition, CONSULTANT shall provide listing <br />of all utilities and all information available for that utility including address, and <br />telephone number. <br />j. Perform design survey in sufficient detail to obtain topographic data, buildings, walls, <br />walks, signs, vaults, and natural and man-made features, as evidenced by facilities at the <br />ground surface and marks by others, necessary for the development of project plans, <br />including all potentially affected trees, 6 inches in diameter and greater, identified by <br />size. Individual trees will not be identified in wooded/brush areas. <br />k. Take cross sections at specified intervals across the right-of-way of public roadways and <br />or the project limits (as described above) whichever is further out. Additional cross <br />sections shall be taken at intersection of streets, roads, railroads, driveways, etc. Obtain <br />elevations of all existing structures such as drainage culverts, utilities and other <br />structures. <br />l. Indicate spot elevations at all, break in grade, ramps, area ways, tree grates, etc. within <br />the project limitis, and at top and bottom of curb. <br />3. Advise Owner if additional reports, data, information, or services of the types described in <br />Exhibit B are necessary and assist Owner in obtaining such reports, data, information, or <br />services. <br />4. Based on the information contained in the Preliminary Design Phase documents, prepare a <br />revised opinion of probable Construction Cost, and assist Owner in collating the various cost <br />categories which comprise Total Project Costs. <br />5. Perform or provide the following additional Preliminary Design Phase tasks or deliverables: <br />a. Utility Coordination <br />b. CONSULTANT shall perform the following Utility Coordination tasks for the Riverside <br />Drive, Hillside Avenue, and Highland Avenue locations: <br />1) Initial Notice shall contain: <br />a) Geographical limits of project and general description of work to be done. <br />b) Anticipated Submittal dates and Construction date. <br />c) Request to sign off no facilities in the area <br />d) Request for easement information <br />
