Council Member Beck made a motion to set this bill for <br />second reading and public hearing May 11, 1987, and refer it to the Zoning and <br />Vacation Committee, seconded by Council Member Barcome. The motion carried. <br />BILL NO. 26 -87 A BILL AMENDING THE ZONING ORDINANCE FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT 2002 <br />MISHAWAKA AVENUE AND 914 20TH STREET, 918 20TH STREET AND 922 <br />20TH STREET, IN THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA. <br />This bill had first reading. Council Member Puzzello made a motion to refer this <br />bill to Area Plan, seconded by Council Member Barcome. The motion carried. <br />BILL NO. 27 -87 A BILL OF THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, <br />AMENDING CHAPTER 21 ENTITLED ZONING, ARTICLE 2 OF THE MUNICIPAL <br />CODE OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND BY THE ADDITION OF NEW DIVISION 13 <br />ENTITLED ACCESSORY USES. <br />This bill had first reading. Council Member Beck made a motion to refer this bill <br />to Area Plan, seconded by Council Member Barcome. The motion carried. <br />BILL NO. 28 -87 A BILL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, AMENDING CHAPTER 2 OF <br />THE MUNICIPAL CODE BY THE INCLUSION OF NEW ARTICLE 18 ENTITLED <br />NEUTRAL REDISTRICTING OF COUNCILMANIC DISTRICTS. <br />This bill had first reading. Council Member Beck made a motion to refer this bill <br />to the Committee of the Whole, seconded by Council Member Barcome. The motion <br />carried. <br />BILL NO. 29 -87 A BILL OF THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA <br />ESTABLISHING THE SOUTH BEND HAZ -MAT FUND. <br />This bill had first reading. Council Member Beck made a motion to set this bill for <br />second reading and public hearing May 11, 1987, and refer it to the Personnel and <br />Finance and Public Safety Committees, seconded by Council Member Barcome. The <br />motion carried. <br />BILL NO. 30 -87 A BILL APPROPRIATING $79,650.00 FROM THE DEDICATED EMERGENCY <br />MEDICAL SERVICE FUND TO DEFRAY EMS RELATED EXPENSES. <br />This bill had first reading. Council Member Beck made a motion to set this bill for <br />second reading and public hearing May 11, 1987, and refer it to the Personnel and <br />Finance and Public Safety Committees, seconded by Council Member Barcome. The <br />motion carried. <br />BILL NO. 31 -87 A BILL AMENDING CHAPTER 6 OF THE SOUTH BEND MUNICIPAL CODE, <br />ENTITLED "BUILDINGS ". <br />This bill had first reading. Council Member Puzzello made a motion to set this bill <br />for second reading and public hearing May 11, and refer it to the Public Works <br />Committee, seconded by Council Member Barcome. The motion carried. <br />UNFINISHED BUSINESS <br />Council Member Beck made a motion to set the next meeting on May 11, seconded by <br />Council Member Barcome. The motion carried. <br />Council Member Voorde discussed the impending fish run on the St. Joseph River in <br />1988. <br />PRIVILEGE OF THE FLOOR <br />Wayne Wirts, 1889 Riverside and Terrance Kinney, 1715 Hamilton, spoke regarding the <br />proposed satellite bill. <br />Nelson Schaffer, 6104 Gotham Dr., Irene Buss, 1326 Lincoln Way East, spoke regarding <br />the Lincoln Way East Historic District. <br />James Cronk, 702 E. LaSalle, indicated that since a new office building was going to <br />be built at St. Louis and Wayne, the Park Department should move their vehicles to <br />the Studebaker Corridor. <br />There being no further business to come before the Council, unfinished or new, <br />Council Member Beck made a motion to adjourn, seconded by Council Member Barcome. <br />The motion carried and the meeting was adjourned at 9:25 p.m. <br />ATTEST: <br />City Clerk <br />APPROVED: <br />President <br />
