All rights reserved. <br /> <br />This is EXHIBIT A, consisting of pages, referred to <br />in and part of the Agreement between Owner and <br />Engineer for Professional Services dated , . <br />Engineer’s Services <br /> <br />Article 1 of the Agreement is supplemented to include the following agreement of the parties. <br /> <br />Engineer shall provide Basic and Additional Services as set forth below. <br /> <br />PART 1 – BASIC SERVICES <br />A1.01 Study and Report Phase <br />A. Engineer shall: <br />1. TOPOGRAPHIC DATA COLLECTION SURVEY: <br />1.1. Conduct a topographic survey of approximately 17.0 acres in size as shown in Exhibit <br />“1.0” Survey Limits, attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, generally <br />described as being bound on the north by E. Wayne St., on the west by Doctor MLK Jr. <br />Blvd., on the south by Monroe St. and on the east by the existing sidewalk along the St. <br />Joseph River, not including the area of the existing Post Office. <br />1.2. As a minimum, the topographic survey shall include the location and elevation of all visible <br />features, including but not limited to building corners, paved and gravel surfaces, guardrail, <br />posts, fences, gates, driveways, field entrances, sidewalk surfaces, individual trees (except <br />limits only of heavily wooded areas), shrubs, landscaping areas, signs, poles, posts, <br />manholes, risers, valves, meters, pits, etc. <br />1.3. Locate utilities within the project area using observed evidence along with the “Indiana <br />811” service and a private utility locating service (Mason Locating). <br />1.4. Locate and detail with elevation inverts of the existing storm and sanitary drainage <br />structures within the project area. <br />1.5. Establish a horizontal datum of INGCS St. Joseph County coordinate system by using <br />terrestrial traverse observations and GPS static observations incorporating the “Trimble <br />VRS Midwest” network. <br />1.6. Establish a vertical datum of NAVD88 by using GPS static observations and a bench level <br />circuit. <br />1.7. Set (12) horizontal control points and (12) vertical benchmarks with references. <br />1.8. Research affected property owners, obtain mailing addresses and send survey notices to all. <br />Owner to review notice prior to sending. <br />1.9. Utilize topographic survey data from the previous JC Hart Survey provide by the Client. <br />1.10. Utilize existing St. Joseph County GIS parcel layers to represent approximate boundary <br />lines within the project area. <br />1.11. Provide utility contact list. <br />1.12. Provide an electronic CAD drawing containing one-foot contours, topographic survey
