Department of Public Works City of South Bend, Indiana Reference: Central Fire Station Reroofing (Project #124-032A) **Midland Engineering provided value engineering option** Dear Ms. Abreha, Midland Engineering is providing the following scope of work, for the above referenced job for your review and consideration based on previous site visit February 21, 2023 along with documents issued by WDI: 1. We will remove and dispose of existing TPO roof and leave the existing tapered insulation in place and prep for overlay. We will also remove all existing TPO base flashing at walls, curbs, penetrations, etc. 2. We will provide and install new'/z" High Density Polyisocyanurate Coverboard and fasten per manufacturer's 20-year system warranty requirements, utilizing #15 XP fasteners and PVC Coated Rhinobond plates, 3. We will provide and install new White Sarnafil Sikaplan 60 PVC membrane, hot air -weld all seams and then induction weld the membrane to the PVC coated RhinoBond plates per manufacturer's warranty requirements, ROOFING /SHEET METAL /MASONRY RESTORATION /WATERPROOFING MEMBERS: SHEET METAL AND AIR CONDITIONING CONTRACTORS NATIONAL ASSOCIATION NATIONAL ROOFING CONTRACTORS ASSOCIATION • MIDWEST ROOFING CONTRACTORS ASSOCIATION TERMS AND CONDITIONS: If the work is completed within 30 days of its commencement, payment in full is due upon receipt of invoice. In all other cases, payment of 96 % of the work completed shall be due upon receipt of invoice covering partial billing with final payment due upon receipt of invoice covering final billing. Non- payment in accordance with the above shall be cause for terminating performance. If payments are not made when due, interest, costs incidental to collection and at- torneys fees shall be added to the unpaid balance. Interest shall accrue at the rate of 1 % %per month. Customer waives application of valuation and appraisement laws. Not liable for failure to perform caused by strikes, fire or anything beyond our control. Quotations subject to change without notice.
