Stantec Consulting Services Inc. 8 of 16 <br />TO1 – Randolph-Sampson RTB PER <br />• Preparation and submittal of an electronic copy of an ASTM E1527 compliant report <br />documenting the findings of the Phase I ESA. The report will include a summary of the Phase I <br />ESA scope of work, assessment methods employed, opinion regarding the findings of the <br />assessment, references, conclusions, and recommendations for additional study, if deemed <br />appropriate. General figures of the Subject Property location and Subject Property plan will also <br />be included. Text of the Phase I ESA report will initially be submitted as a draft for one round of <br />review and comment. The draft report may be revised based upon comments made by client <br />before submittal of the final report. The results of the Phase I ESA are stated as professional <br />opinions regarding the condition of the Subject Property at the time of the assessment. The <br />report has limitations and offers no guarantee that all possible environmental conditions will be <br />recognized or discernible. <br />The Phase I ESA report to be delivered by STANTEC will be for the sole use of the CITY. The report may <br />not be relied upon by any other party without the express written consent of STANTEC, which may be <br />withheld at Stantec’s discretion. Any such reliance to which Stantec consents will (1) contain a limitation <br />of STANTEC’s liability which will be no greater than the lesser of $50,000 or the value of STANTEC’s fees <br />for the Phase I ESA, and (2) only be granted pursuant to the conditions of STANTEC’s standard form <br />reliance letter (i.e., STANTEC will not sign forms of reliance letter proposed by lenders or other third <br />parties). <br />If further investigation actions (i.e., Phase II ESA investigations) are recommended as part of the Phase I <br />Report, scope and costs associated with further investigation will be defined in the future detailed <br />design amendment as needed. <br />Subtask 2.5- Initial Geotechnical Investigation <br />Concurrent with initial site investigations and analysis of alternative layouts for the proposed facilities, <br />STANTEC’s subconsultant will conduct an initial geotechnical investigation to provide a general <br />understanding of the subsurface conditions that will impact development of preliminary foundation and <br />structural design criteria. The initial program of geotechnical field investigations will include completion <br />of two (2) soil borings to depths of up to 75 feet, and installation of a temporary groundwater <br />piezometer at one of the boring locations. Samples collected during performance of the borings will be <br />analyzed for physical and engineering characteristics. <br />Results from the initial geotechnical investigations will be documented in a geotechnical data report that <br />will be included as an appendix to the PER. <br />Deliverables for Task 2 (All deliverables will be submitted via email in PDF format unless otherwise <br />noted): <br />• Survey basemap in AutoCAD Civil 3D 2023 version. <br />• Technical Memorandum: Environmental and Cultural Resources Investigation. <br />• Technical Memorandum: Local Stormwater Drainage Evaluation. <br />• Phase I Environmental Site Assessment. <br />• Initial Geotechnical Investigation Geotechnical Data Report <br />
