All rights reserved. <br /> <br />1. Prepare final Drawings and Specifications indicating the scope, extent, and character of the <br />work to be performed and furnished by Contractor. <br />2. Provide detailed Construction Cost Estimates in Excel format to Owner. <br />3. Perform or provide the following additional Final Design Phase Tasks or deliverables, <br />a. Provide a rendered plan (colored version of CAD plan sheet) for public information. <br />4. Prepare and furnish electronic review copies of the bidding documents for review by <br />Owner, its legal counsel, and other advisors, and assist Owner in the preparation of other <br />related documents. Within 10 days of receipt, Owner shall submit to Engineer any <br />comments and, subject to the provisions of Paragraph 6.01.G, instructions for revisions. <br />5. Revise the bidding documents in accordance with comments and instructions from the <br />Owner, as appropriate, and submit electronic final copies of the bidding documents, a <br />revised Construction Cost Estimate, and any other deliverables to Owner within 7 <br />calendar days after receipt of Owner’s comments and instructions. <br />6. Submission of 90% plans to City will be made within 168 calendar days from the date of <br />City’s notice to proceed. <br />B. Engineer’s services under the 100% Final Design Plans will be considered complete on the date <br />when the submittals required by Paragraph A1.03.A.5 have been delivered to and approved by <br />Owner. <br />1. Tentative project schedule could be as follows, <br />Notice to Proceed…………………………………………..June 2024 <br />30% Preliminary Design Plans Submittal………………….November 2024 <br />Legals Submittal upon City Review……………………….December 2024 <br />60% Preliminary Design Plans Submittal………………….March 2025 <br />90% Final Design Plans Submittal…………………………April 2025 <br />100% Final Design Plans Complete………………………..May 2025 <br />Project Bid………………………………………………….June 2025 <br />Project Award………………………………………………July 2025 <br />Project Construction Complete……………………………..November 2025 <br />A 1.04 Bidding or Negotiating Phase <br />C. After acceptance by Owner of the bidding documents and the most recent opinion of probable <br />Construction Cost as determined in the Final Design Plans, and upon written authorization by <br />Owner to proceed, Engineer shall: <br />1. Assist Owner in advertising for and obtaining bids or proposals for the Work and, where <br />applicable, maintain a record of prospective bidders to whom Bidding Documents have <br />been issued, attend pre-bid conferences, if any, and receive and process contractor deposits <br />or charges for the bidding documents.
